Visited Bucharest 11 times in the 90s. Parliament Palace used to be Ceaucescu's Palace you can see the extravagance and oppulence! Yet his people were poor. He knocked down some local houses and widened the road so he could have a dramatic roadway to his Palace. I think he built the road in the style of the Champs-Elysee in Paris. Sorry you didn't like the polenta. Mamaliga is the national dish, a corn dish that is boiled and stirred until it is very thick. Then add some cream or cheese such as brinza or cashcaval. It is actually very good.
I had finally sat down and watched the @ChrisTakesOff series of the same content (only with the destination “challenges” being handed out by friends and other UA-camrs) that had been posted starting a couple months ago. Now I have to set aside a block of time to watch @benwalker3897 do the same thing. I really like the visit-whatever-destination-next videos!
@@benwalkertravel you probably can't get cheap flights to Singapore another place is schiphol airport for Amsterdam you should able to get direct flights from birmingham I always insist on flying from birmingham airport
Schiphol should be a cheap one to get flights out of and down to Lisbon airline from Lisbon called tap airways don't know what it stands for Lisbon Portugal beautiful get there but cheap
