@@thedude8046James isn't Mister Slow. He's Captain Slow. That might make Lucy Lieutenant Slow, since James clearly outranks her. Or if she's considered to be a -presenter- officer in training, then she's Cadet Slow. (Going by British military ranks here.)
Come on, how can you not love Lucy? Her demeanor, presentation, and awkward geekiness just make her absolutely lovable! As much as I would like to see the Hamster and James back on camera more often, we need more Lucy.
Lucy + public interactions = pure comedy. To be fair to the girl considering she’s only got her phone and a tripod the quality of what she is producing is awesome! Keep it up Lucy! I hope this series has a long run as I really enjoy it.
The boat at 12:49 is Sava, a river monitor originally built for Austria-Hungary as SM Bodrag, which fired the first recorded shots of WW1 when it fired at some Serbian fortifications.
It is not some Serbian fortification. It is same fort Lucy visited and filmed. Now ship is placed in front of fort on which it fired first shots of WW1.
Yes. I kinda feel like Lucy is one of My People, whatever that specifically means. Basically I think we'd get on well. It's nice to see her not only getting featured but improving. 🙂
It IS truly something to see her so gracefully PUSH THROUGH her anxiety about speaking to people and working outside of her comfort zone. Like Richard said once, "We shall fix that with some courage."
Lucy, you are so brave going around filming and asking strangers to film you. I don't know why, but I get anxiety even taking out my camera in public places.
I love how Lucy randomly discovers a local cuisine restaurant and is pleasantly surprised liking the food. That's one of my favorite things in my travels.
She needs to send them both in different directions and make those two have a 30 minute window to cross paths in an airport in Estonia or some other place.
I'm so happy you visited Serbia and Belgrade. Next time your crew is here, ping me, I will take you all to lunch for some more traditional Serbian food :)
Lucy, I know you probably won't read this and I know you have no idea who I am, but I just want to say that I'm very proud of you for engaging with strangers to record your travel segments. It is obviously a struggle for you to do that, especially in such a public space like UA-cam. Well done. @whatnextvids
Kudos to Ms. Lucy! It's comforting to hear that someone else has the same inner monologue as myself when it comes to being in public and interacting with people. Loving the series!
I went to Serbia recently, Belgrade for 4 days. It's one of the reasons I started a travel channel to show more of that beautiful country (and others that are less visited). Belgrade was just SO mind-blowing, truly worth a holiday there guys.
I actually love this series. Lucy is awesome on camera and I genuinely feel for her when shes approached randoms. Then the travel piece she actually does is also spot on. Well done everyone involved.
Serbia, Belgrade and Balkans overall are best kept secret in Europe! So much history, great food and people...yes it is true because of the wars it is still ruined and not kept well but slowly coming back in order. Even so it has its own charm.
Richard in voiceover: Serbian Airlines. (In Russian-esk voice) Heyyyyy! Look. You made it!!! This series is pure genius! I'm so glad Richard didn't put Lucy up in a Hostel. (and if you've seen the movie, you get the reference) So many Eastern Gems, in the Crossroads of the World. The number of people out on just a Tuesday afternoon, is always so interesting to me. Stay Wonderfull, Lucy!
Just binge watch the first episodes of this and what a great idea for a travel show....and Lucy is a natural. Well done chaps and chapette, keep up the terrific work.
Lucy you are SO brave! I have a terrible time approaching people to ask about filming too. brava to you- I do love these mini travel episodes, stressful for you, but so much fun!
Lucys social anxiety is exactly how I feel doing similar things. Her commentary and thoughts are the best part of these. Im glad they weren't taken out after being sponsored. I also love hearing James May in her thoughts every now and then and its hilarious
I love the public interactions and Lucy's pure panic when she needs to approach a stranger to ask them to film something. This is the first part in the series that I've watched and I guess I'll go and watch the rest now.
I can relate to the being awkward, then the after talk, when i was younger anyhow. Lucy, that thankfully fades with time/age. I really enjoy the...shortness of each place within the town being explored. Theres just enuf story/info to vaguely describe it, & want to go there myself to find out more. Not really possible for us in america. Well, those of us on a budget. Keep up the Great work ! 👍
Thanks for visiting my hometown! You did a lovely job! A lot of people speak English, and most of them are generous and keen to help. Walking around the city at night is actually pretty chill. It gets alive around here, with a lot of bars, clubs, pubs,... But yes, it could be cleaner. Hope this was just a first of many visits to come! Cheers! :)
Well done, Lucy! Your videos are really fun to watch and I love the format of sending someone to an airport without them knowing where they are going. More of these please! :D
Great series, it’s worth it just to watch Lucy psych herself up before asking strangers to be her tripod and her reaction to how cringy it felt after. I await the montage of all of them at the end of the series.
I might watch bits and pieces from this channel when they pop up - but if I see Lucy involved you'd better believe I am watching asap. She's great and this series is my favourite thing on youtube!
Lucy, it turns out, is must watch TV . She's the it girl . Not sure what it is, but I'm tuned in...😅. Seriously love how hard she trys and puts her all into everything she does..quirky, adorable..

Another great episode, and another week to wait for the next episode. Great to see Lucy Seeking Discomfort asking strangers to film. Would be fantastic if you could arrange a collaboration with Yes Theory for one of Lucy’s future episodes. Looking forward to more great travel reports Lucy.
Relating to this very much. Love travelling, don't know how to talk to strangers. Every interaction is awkward. I'm constantly lost, tired and know very little about the world around me. Well done Lucy. Star in the reasonably-priced plane ticket.
Many tourists don't expect this but you can pay public transport in Belgrade contactless. Visa or Master will do just fine, and it's been so for a couple of years now. Plus city is well covered by buses which are really cheap and go until midnight.
It’s such a shame that the weather was cloudy in the video. I’ve been to The White City Belgrade multiple times, and when the sun came out, it was way prettier than it appeared in Lucy’s footage. Definitely recommend a visit.

Lucy's "inner voice" dialogue is absolutely fascinating. Love it!
at 10:12 "Ohmygod, that was awful (..)" 🤣
Lucy is becoming the new James, as in I'll watch anything she is presenting. Very likable and quirky.
Miss slow
Luciferous...
Yes to the power of Very.

I swear she's James' long lost daughter. She's so like him, it's uncanny!

I very much agree, Lucy does a great job as well.
Yeah, she's really coming in to her own now. A joy to watch.
She just needs to smile a lot more!
A lucy and Mike travel show........with the occasional Yujiro cameo
no, she's not even close to James
LOL at 10:12 😂 Lucy's humour is just awesome, and I like her spontaneous approach.
10:10 - 10:19 is the most relatable thing ever recorded.

So glad that Lucy is in front of the camera again. Love her take on things

You know when a streaming service only releases an episode a week and you're desperate for more? This is what Lucy's Travel Show is like!
It’s one of my favorite travel docs ever, please give us more!!
😂
Serbian (all ex-yogoslavian) food was and is quite popular here in Germany. I think it's generally more on the heavy side, which is fine by me.
We couldn’t love Lucy more!
Lucy, you are so brave going around filming and asking strangers to film you. I don't know why, but I get anxiety even taking out my camera in public places.
That’s just you dude
I love Belgrade! Nice people, nice vibe and great food! Highly recommended to visit.
Love Lucy she is such a trooper, that awkward embarrassment is adorable!
Lucy is very, very talented but the grumbling and moaning is just so endearing that it really makes the series.
I love how Lucy randomly discovers a local cuisine restaurant and is pleasantly surprised liking the food. That's one of my favorite things in my travels.
She should get to pick location to send Richard at least once, even just for an april fools prank on him.
yES!!
Definitely
She needs to send them both in different directions and make those two have a 30 minute window to cross paths in an airport in Estonia or some other place.

Lucy's surprised smile at the end; cannot wait to where she's heading next!
Tbilisi
Yay! More Lucy travel videos!
This series is quickly becoming one of my favorite things to watch on UA-cam.
Lucy's social interaction commentary 😂
Her reaction at 10:10 was like 😖 "ohmygod, that was f***g awful"
Hilarious!😂
Sooooo, does anyone, anyone at all like/love lucy???
If not, why??? She's adorable 🙂
Well done young lady!!!
Lucy you need to learn how to hide personal expenses as corporate ones. It's the travel skill everyone needs to learn.
Ćevapi / Roštilj is a must visiting Belgrade. Oh and the bakery is outstanding
Lucy is awesome, especially on these travel videos. Great job Lucy!! That church was absolutely gorgeous inside!!

Lucy is an awesome presenter 👍
Im glad Lucy is trying the local food, it's a great view into that culture seeing and tasting what they eat.
I actually love this series. Lucy is awesome on camera and I genuinely feel for her when shes approached randoms. Then the travel piece she actually does is also spot on. Well done everyone involved.
I love her so much! I could watch a video a day of her and her silly times of being uncomfortable. We can all relate to that! She is awesome!!!!!
Serbia, Belgrade and Balkans overall are best kept secret in Europe!

I really enjoy these. I love seeing how professional Lucy is to camera, but still human everywhere else. I can't wait for the next.
I really like Lucys' travel show videos, she makes it sound really appealing to go and visit the country.

Thank you Lucy, the voice-over/running commentary of dealing with daily-life awkwardness makes this show great.
Lucy deserves a raise!
Lucy is just so lovable , She makes the show
I love you Lucy, you're such an inspiration the way you push yourself outside of your comfort zone. You're so lucky to have such a supportive team.
I was wondering if Lucy would ever visit Serbia, I am so glad that she did. Pozdrav!

Loved the cliffhanger there at the end. I'm really enjoying this series! And it's hilarious every time Lucy almost dies from embaressment!

I want this to be a whole tv series so badly, like 'An Idiot Abroad'.
This gives me the same vibe but way more wholesome, relaxing and fun.
Lucy is the only reason I stay subscribed to What's Next.

Another cracking report from Lucy!
Our gal Lucy seems pleased about the next destination. Looking forward to the next episode!
I'm embarrassed to even look at my phone in public, couldn't even imagine the stress to find someone to get to film you. Your strength is inspiring.
Go outside more often. Your fellow humans are not that scary. Interact with other people then your online friends, it might just help
I love this series.
Well done Lucy, appreciate your braveness. I would end up spending hours too scared to ask people to film. x
Another masterpiece starring Lucy Pilkinton, love it!
