I used to dedicated with walmart for about 12yrs and i would hear from al the guys there how they love it and most of the guys there were there for 10,15,20 years. So i finally applied. Hopefully i get it, its really chill and laid back there

Hey buddy! Thanks! Yeah but they make up for it in several other ways! I forgot to mention I got a winter coat fitted it's mine to keep and if I was there a full year I would have got a pretty hefty Christmas bonus also the safety bonus quarterly is over 750 bucks plus they give us extra percentage off the whole month of December and also a hefty percentage off of groceries during that time period as well. I'm working on riding up a video about all this LOL They make up for things it's definitely worth it in my opinion.

@@ThisTruckingLife Are they ever going to pair you up with a dedicated slip seat driver... I know a few years ago they used to assign two or three guys to the same truck and they would just pretty much cohabitate all their stuff so they wouldn't have to put it in and out all the time.
Yeah they still do that. I'm on open board. I have the same truck usually all week. I don't mind the 15 minutes it takes me to get my stuff in it...it helps remind me I'm not living in a truck anymore. It'll be a few years I'll get "my own" truck.

Yes but only if you do it during wait time unless you get a truck that's in dire need of cleaning then you can talk to management and get paid for it

I'm so grateful I finally found a trucking job that fits everything checks all the boxes you know that's why I'm screaming it from the rooftops LOL
