What about Interactive Brokers? I thought both Jigsaw and NT can connect to IB?
my head is spinning from all of this information. Mr. Speculator, can you tell , as a scalper using jigsaw/Tradovate (hence data feed is indirect CQG), makes a noticeable difference with using any other combination? take in consideration that frequent switching between these various combo is not always that easy specially for people lacking these much skill of technology. As per the video I see no discernable difference in the quality of the data feeds that would matter to the retail trader. It matters much more to what platforms you want to use.
Great content - but with all of these data feed options in a perfect world you could have gone to a couple powerpoints showing the options available.
The problem is offerings change too much. So I can really only address this one particular situation that's relevant to people using both Ninja and Jigsaw. For broader advice on a data feeds it's best to talk to your introducing broker who can give information specific to you and relevant to current market offerings.
What if one were trading goldusd but wanted to look at the orderflow using comex gold futures, using demo version of ninjatrader because I don’t require a broker as I’m executing on MT5 on a funded challenge account ?

I use Rithmic, I wonder whether the fills are the same with Rithmic and CQG?
I certainly don't notice a difference. Here again your reaction speed probably matters more than your data feed does. A robot might care, but I think it would be very difficult to prove a statistical difference between them.

This goes through your broker. So for instance, if you use Amp futures as your broker you can choose between either data feed, and they have a little form you fill out to pick which one you want.

@@binhsir Not sure on interactive brokers, but if you want to trade only futures you're probably better off going with a specialty futures broker.

my question i use mzpack on cqg data on ninja the problem when i restart my ninja the all things voulme delta have changed and when i backtesting on orderflow all things change whyyy ? plz help
When using historical data they must use tick replay to reconstruct things which is not entirely accurate to the live data. The difference shouldn't be incredibly different though.

I don't have any specific tips for oil. I do not understand that market the way I do treasuries. Oil kinda scares me to be honest.
It is a pain getting the right platform and the right broker, but if I were you I would drop ninjatrader.
NT is a pain the butt on a good day.

Right now there's not a good solution for python integration aside from connecting to your data provider directly.

As I mentioned in the video Dxfeed is good. Rithmic and CQG are just more popular and widely supported.

Does dxFeed work for charting purposes in Ninja 8?
I recently signed up for a Ninja Clearing account and they only offer CQG data or its variants. I tested the basic Ninja Continuum data feed, Kinetick, IQ Feed, and even a trial of CQG, but all of them do not offer more than 10 levels of market depth. This is a deal breaker for me.
My previous connection with Rithmic was able to see all available levels of market depth like you mentioned. Could you please let me know how I can get a Rithmic data feed for charting purposes? I'll still use my default Ninja Clearing Continuum connection to submit trades.

@@oldporkchops Seems right now if you want more depth levels you can't use NinjaTrader brokerage.
Use ATAS and never think of other stuff :)
Does ATAS include data feeds or something?
@@lgx2410 nope - its not legal without exchange fees. But atas can do all from TT over cqg to rithmic and dxfeed
