      Awesome Nick, I love to hear it. Futures has a lot of components, and it seems complicated until you understand the need and function of each. Super happy this helped you. - George

    Thanks for clearing this up. I just don't like how futures require so much 3rd party connections when you literally have some brokerages who just give you all in one services with stock trading. What you forgot to add is the FCM's as well. There is the broker, the FCM (futures clearing merchant), the data feed provider, and the platform, plus the CBOE(exchange). That is a lot of companies you need to consider just to get started in trading futures contracts. In addition, these companies aren't transparent in what their pricing is so the broker has to break it down for you.

    If you pick the package with Denali data feed in Sierra do you need a futures broker such as Amp ?

    Hard to believe, here in my country is much easier to understand. Our broker and clearing is the same and the platform already comes with live market data.
    I'm starting in the USA markets so I had to search this because I didn't comprehend very well.
    Thanks for clarify it.

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  3 роки тому

      Yeah CQG isn't ideal with Sierra, I am using their Denali feed and it's solid - best part is they have server side orders, so if something goes wrong with your internet your stop is held on their server, instead of your computer with CQG. That alone was worth the switch for me, as a former, long time CQG client.

    Hi, I am currently setting up my trading platform through AMP and am curious as to which Exchange Data and bundles you suggest. There are many options and I am a relatively new trader looking to explore futures and start small, but it asks if you want all CME markets, ICE data, EUREX, and Cash Index Data... etc. Do you have any suggestions on which markets and specific options I should choose if I am just starting out. Thank you for your help! Great video.

    I have a SIMULATION account with Ninja Trader but need CQG Live Data only feed for charting only to execute my trader on MT5. Can I get the Data to be used in the simulation account. I know they offer free data in simulation account but has time limit on it and some say even the live data is delayed. I need to prop my simulation with CQG top of the book basic live data to use my own indcator ( Order Flow ) for Charting. Thank you

    Have you used tradingview with AMP?

  • @theinsuranceguy101
    @theinsuranceguy101 4 роки тому

    Just got approved through AMP today, I'm really excited to start. I have been paper trading for the last 2 months and am ready to actually take on risk. I understand the order book but have never traded with it, I am comfortable with taking positions with other indicators. Do you think I am hurting myself if I go with tradingview over sierra charts? I am much more comfortable with charts over the order book. thank you

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  4 роки тому

      Hey theinsuranceguy! Awesome to hear that you are up and running with AMP. The answer to your question really depends on your trading style. If you are swing trading, then you can get away with using Tradingview. Since we day trade order flow we cannot trade without access to the order book! If you haven't had a chance, make sure to sign up to our free order flow course to better understand the order book in the new year. Here is the link if you are interested: tradeproacademy.com/order-flow-free-course/ . Best Regards!

      Bro i have been trading for a year a and a bit, and i have spent over 20k on school From Online trading academy, i worked my ass off every day for a long time with no job. committing sometimes 16 hours a day to studying what i have learned about the markets. and only now do i feel comfortable trading with real money on the Futures market. I have a mentor who i attend class more than 3 times a week and we go over trades in a classroom, this i also pay a quarterly subscription for. paper trading for 2 months and you are ready for trading? Good luck man, im my opinion you are not ready and you have a long way to go. I dont want to see you lose money and im afraid thats exactly where you are headed. I am amazed that people with very little exposure to the markets are 'ready' to trade the markets when the statistics are clear that the Gross majority fail at trading.

    Hey George, I’m a daytrader mostly and was ready to jump into Sierra charts but found Market Delta footprint charts now I’m not sure how to use both or if I have to use MD through amp instead of Sierra or in tandem?..

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  5 років тому

      Sierra charts has footprints, they are just called "numbers bars" and they do all the same stuff and more. Sierra has a steeper learning curve, but it is far more customizable and functional once you get over the hump of learning another software. Welcome to the dark side lol. Our futures course is packed with order flow trading, and we include our entire template as part of the membership (updated regularly) - so you can literally download and import and save hours of tinkering. Hope this helps - it's late and I'm getting a little loopy lol. Have a great evening. - George.

      TRADEPRO Academy Thanks for the quick reply. I’m mainly interested in MD volume imbalance footprint charts is there any videos you’ve done on how to do that in Sierra charts number bars? Your other video about trading software talks about MD so still not 100% clear how your using (or not using MD) but guess I’ll try Sierra first and play around with MD vol imbalance footprints at some point.

    Excelent video thanks a lot! Just a few questions, I live in Ireland and I wish to go with AMP and use Sierra Chart. I am planning on using mostly the S&P 500 for most of my transactions. This market is from the USA so I was wondering if it is not a problem for me to still operate in a foreign market instead of let's say DAX30. This might be a noobie question but thanks a lot in advance!

      With a trading account You can trade everything no matter where you live. If you're new I recommend to start with a small CFD/Forex account and having an orderflow Plattform on the side.

    As a swing trader holding position from a week to a couple of months, due to open a 50K account with AMP, my goal would be 3,5 / 3,7% monthly average what do you suggest in terms of data feed and others advice..... futures on CME currency futures and FX . Thank you very much for your time !!

      I would be careful swing trading futures, lots of gaps and volatility last few weeks. Keep an eye out on a second wave, and be prepared to factor in 20 to 40 point gaps that surpass your stop placement when holding over the weekend. Size accordingly, scale smaller over weekends. Data and other things depend on the platform you are using. We use Sierra, with Denali and TT Fix. Hope this helps brother - love joy and happiness. - George

    Hey want to trade futuers from india is it possible...

  • @billushah
    @billushah 4 роки тому

    I trade futures through brokers like xm, fxpro, Icmarkets etc due to extremely low margin requirements and even one can buy 1/50 the size of standard future contracts as compared most of US brokers provide. To open account with US brokers is difficult for us as asians.
    I am interested in Market Profile, Volume profile, DOM etc and for that I need sierra charts. I would love to have live data for Sierra for which probably I need CQG data feed.
    Is it possible to that subscribe to sierra charts with CQG data feed for live Market analysis while I trade on current brokers mentioned above.
    Waiting for your guidance and kind help in this regard.
    Thank you

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  4 роки тому

      Hey Bilal, if you are using the brokers you mentioned you are likely trading CFD contracts which are derivatives of futures contracts! It's possible to subscribe to Sierra for the data feed while trading on your current brokers, however, you will have to pay "professional data fees" if there is not a funded futures account connected to the CME data subscription. Hope this helps!

    my metatrader has 5 decimal price data,
    but my ATAS demo with CTS or Rithmic Datafeed has only 4 decimal price data...
    does CQG has 5 decimal price data ?

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  4 роки тому

      Depends on what asset you are looking at! We trade primarily equity index futures and crude oil futures so we see 2 decimal points. Regards
