- Joining them for pizza, U.S. President Joe Biden chatted to U.S. soldiers during a visit to Poland on Friday.
Biden was visiting troops stationed at a Polish military base in Rzeszow as part of NATO’s efforts to strengthen its eastern flank.
The trip was part of a longer European trip which also included meetings with leaders of the European Union, NATO and head of states of the G7 group in Brussels on Thursday.
The reason for the trip was Russia’s invasion of Ukraine which has entered its second month.
