What in the Dr. Suess is up with her hair???
Nice narrative, enjoyed it…in saying that ..was disappointed that you showed the Netflix charlotte, your narrative is historical and Netflix is not, next we will have a dark skinned queen Victoria…can you imagine a Caucasian Nelson Mandela…I’d be offended..
When they cast the Queen Charlotte with that light skin tone, I knew by looking at Queen Charlotte's older pics she definitely had this skin tone. Americans whether your small minds like it or not, they didn't treat blacks like you do...Great Britain treated blacks differently.
I live in England and I know how things are in the 21st c.
If you honestly believe that a "black" woman could have married into the Royal Family in the 18th c.
you are very much mistaken.
I also know my ancestry, and Charlotte was white.
AHHH, COME ON!
I really wasn't expecting a woke revision of history from this channel.
Really pathetic!
Marge Simpson hair. Ridiculous.
Bridgerton is not history it is rubbish.
Brigerton is fictional; it is just based on fact. You do see some facts with the tension between Charlotte and her mother in law.
He sounds as if he were Bi-polar.....sadly. But part of me wonders if he were slowly poisoned. perhaps inadvertently....
They did have lead and arsenic (As well as other now known as dangerous ingredient ) in materials made for eating on , in soaps, lotions , powders and makeup. Any of these could have caused or worsened already present issues.
Yes He was Believed to have manic episodes
The real George III suffered from Porphyria. The Porphyrias are not mental illnesses. They are inherited blood and metabolic disorders that affect the central nervous system, various organs (especially the liver), the gastrointestinal system, skin, etc. They are caused by a buildup of chemicals related to red blood cell proteins. The psychiatric manifestations are caused by the misdiagnosis and lack of proper treatment of the physical symptoms.
George III did suffer from Porphyria. Modern doctors ignore the physical symptoms and dwell on the mental symptoms, which do match, although they were exacerbated by his mistreatment. Porphyria has been in many of the Royal houses since Medieval times.
Everyone calm down about the video clips, my god. Who cares if he used Bridgerton videos?
I live in Charlotte, NC which is in Mecklenburg County… her namesake ❤
How does the color of the actress’s skin make a difference. It’s a movie. Although based on fact, it’s not a documentary. Get over yourselves. Go feed a hungry kid or something positive.
Who is that black lady in the thumbnail
Madragana Bat Aloandro, her supposed "black" ancestor, 15 times removed, was a Sephardic Jewess of NORTH African ancestry. As the illegitimate issue of mistresses are not in the line of succession, it is of no real importance.
Without Charlotte the Monarchy
I always heard Charlotte was of mixed race and considered black. This is my first time hearing she was not black. Somebody send me some facts.
She was of mixed race, one of Her Grandmas was a Moore. Many Royals mix gene pools to acquire land peacefully and They love to cross culture. It also keeps the babies healthy. She looked Mulatto.

@@livingincaptivityIII You find black ancestry in the bloodline of many other races. Very few people are pure in race. Most are mixed with something. I am African American, but have ancestry of Asian, Indian, and Caucasian in my bloodline. My maternal grandmother was Indian. My father's side of the family is very fair in skin tone. They have a high percentage of Caucasian in their bloodline. Which is why it is so important to just learn how to LOVE PEOPLE. Regardless of race, we all bleed red. There is beauty in every race. God is creative. Men have a collective rainbow of beautiful flowers to choose a mate from.

Not everyone mixes, dear.
@@livingincaptivityIII I did not say EVERYONE mixes. A lot of people have mixed. You may prefer not to mix. Family members living before you may have made a different choice. The bloodline now include other races, no matter how far removed.
The Queen was of mixed race. It's a myth that her moorish ancestry was over 300 years. Every portrait of her shows her mixed background be could be grandparents and or even a parent. Not much of her family is known, and even with this show, more modern telling, speaks of home as a minor duchy, with very little wealth, nothing of her parents, grandparents, and / or close family are spoken off.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣what fake information, total fabrication. Only those who have no idea about history can believe such nonsense.
Her family is known to her descendants, and we are not amused.
Why dont they wear those powdered wigs like they used too in those days aswell
She was black deal with it.
🤣You're stupid, deal with it.

Queen Charlotte was not black. She was German.
She wasn’t beautiful, either. No one complains about hiring a lovely actor.
She was mixed! So according to society and some governments then and now, she was Black.
Indeed, more 'woke' shite.
There are black Germans
German is a nationality, not a race. And, race is a social construct.
Total crap
Ridiculous casting......
Amen
Perverse and ridiculous casting, but they work in television, so they are the Enlightened, and we are but the maggots wot daren't complain.
Sorry but it was the best casting 🫣
@@nicoleclark9355in what way ?
@GB-nu6ow Well if you watch it the acting is really good and they got the cast just right to look like the older ones as well
Why are you using a very brown woman to portray Queen Charlotte? Her parents and children belie this nonsensical myth.
👎
I find the outage over the race of the actor hysterical. If the actors was white and had jet black hair instead of her original blond would you even care or notice? It’s proving the whole point of the narrative and you are all proving the point. She was put of place in her and not the typical “queen” type. Your so complacent with your division that you can’t even comprehend the lesson.
I look forward to the Netflix series portraying Nelson Mandela or MLK as White men.
@@marycaine8874 Read a book, that’s already been done all throughout history.
@@LORRAIN-lz3wn Oh dear! The old "read a book" riposte. You have no specific examples. OK, I get it!
@@marycaine8874 Through out history theatre was preformed by men, white men, even the lady parts, like Elizabethans drag queens, but at least they were white, right?!?! How about Vaudeville acts, Wild West Shows, college and high school plays up until the 60’s and 70’s and white folks loved them some BLACKFACE. Whites have dominated theatre, television, etc. but yet cry foul the minute it’s not exactly as it’s always been as in always white! As a white woman, I pity you, darlin’, because the future is going to be so rough for many of us who don’t quite comprehend a life as a minority, after centuries of oppression and stomach turning cruelty and thinking our white skin means we’re somehow special! Buckle up, buttercup, the future of this world is finally going to be what it was always meant to be, COLORFUL AND BEAUTIFUL!!
Charlotte's hair was auburn, not blonde.
Many people seem bothered by the Queen's race, which is verry predictable; some rhings never change, however, while you imagine yourself as some revolutionary genius, you're point is ancient, irrelevant, and based on Color, not character, so you know what that makes you, right? If you dont like the idea of a colorful Queen, you are always free to change the video and/or channel rather than having a temper-tantrum, again
I agree and I'm waiting for a movie about Nelson Mandela and Obama that will be played by white people.
I have no issue with the Show Netflixs tells everyone it is Historical fiction same with shows like Tudors
Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was white.

My genealogist is a treasure.
Bridgerton is fiction - not an historical documentary. Queen Charlotte was also white as were all the other aristocrats.
