Yes, Judge Judy is usually very vocal when it comes to able-bodied people, (in her opinion), living off the system, especially two people before her who are completely living off of her tax dollars. Normally a situation like this makes her blood boil, and the people involved really get scolded. More often than not, she has a lot to say in a an utterly disgusted tone of voice. She usually doesn't see going to school, especially online, as a reason not to be working. She'd say plenty of people do it. The guy is young, so she would be very hard on him saying that if he can stand there, she is sure that there's something he could be doing instead of living off other people's money. Her commentary would be peppered with sarcastic remarks-guaranteed. I've been watching her for many years and I know how she feels about things, and how she usually handles her courtroom and the litigants. I must have missed this particular episode, but there must be a lot more to this situation that touched Judge Judy in some way that she is being kind and soft-spoken. I'm curious about it. This definitely isn't her typical m.o.
This was a hard case to watch. This poor young lady, I really hope she’s in a much better place in life today.

I’ve been unfortunate enough to be stuck in Dr offices etc while she’s been televised giving interview. She’s so egotistical and in absolute love with her own brand it’s truly disgusting.
She truly believes if she hadn’t of graduated law that no woman ever would have. That all women owe her somehow and that her life has given her the right to disrespect everyone she comes in contact with personally and professionally.
This show is ridiculous too. She often threatens things outside her jurisdiction. She’s small claims court modified for TV.
She’s an old grumpy woman who is too miserable to spend her day with friends and family bc they don’t want to be around her that many hours of the day.
To the people who don't understand that her position dictates that she HAS TO BE firm in the courtroom, her comments are not an always an indicator of her personal feelings . Watch enough of her shows, and you'll understand that she actually cares a lot about people. And she'll say what they need to hear sometimes that no one else will tell them. And sometimes, as in this case, she is demonstrating compassion, because it is needed
Not all the time especially around the 2000’s 😂😂😂 I’ve watched JJ for many, many years and sometimes the yelling is unnecessary she does it cause she gets a kick out of it and it makes for great television! Even she’s known to tell herself to calm down cause of her high blood pressure which at one point she was taking meds for. She disclosed this herself. Yeah she’s straightforward but at times a lot can be left out especially when she’s yelling at someone. It really only got to me when I was just listening in without watching and it became super annoying at times 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️

@@barb8335 seems like the ones who shouldn't get it, get it with no problem. I had a stroke and a heart attack, permanent brain damage so I have memory issues and left side issues. I was denied, had to fight for it. Took 2 years.
@@barb8335 I worked at a nephrology clinic (kidney) and we send people to dialysis and they still don’t give a person on dialysis disability. I couldn’t believe that crap. If it’s diabetes related eventually they will get disability but it takes forever. I don’t care if you are republican or Democrat, America we must do better. This ridiculous.

Judge Judy may be stern, but she does have a heart and soul. She is always kind and gentle when called for. Don’t try and screw with her, she will take you down, no matter how big your size. Love her!

What a terrible shame this young lady couldn't be in a regular school with other kids her age. My son is older now but his biggest regret was not going to high school because he was short and chubby. He did it online homeschooling for 4 years.
By the time you got to be a senior he was 6'-5" tall handsome muscular young man.

I couldn’t attend high school because of extreme bullying, anxiety as well as undiagnosed autism, that also caused eating disorders to cope. Forcing me there would’ve probably killed me. I sorted it out as an adult & now I’ve completed uni. Regular school doesn’t fit everyone.

My son quit the last year of school to take care of his Dad. After He posed away, I made sure to get him in GED classes. He graduated the year he was supposed to graduate. He's working now, still wants to go to college for auto. But, he'll have to get himself together.

She should be in high school proper. She may have had to leave a bad Homelife. I didn’t see any back information other than what was shown on the video. But as a 52 year old mother and wife, his worked 17 years and stayed home to take care of my family now I don’t understand how people just don’t work. I was a single mother for many years, worked every day. There was no question in my head about it. It was like breathing. You don’t work you don’t get paid. And now this poor child is living with a friend who is like a grandmother God bless her. And a man is on disability for his back? The whole disability thing is going to bankrupt this country. Nobody wants to work. Or everyone wants a job until it’s time to go to work. You have to grind! If your back is that messed up, you should be in a rehabilitation center trying to get it better so you can work. You could sit down and answer a phone, you could be a sales associate in a wheelchair. I’ve seen it done. I know disability is needed for many but the younger generation that are claiming they can’t work because of a back problem is getting a little old. Hit the weights strengthen your core and your muscles so you can hold yourself up to earn a living wage for your family. I wish the best for this girl.

@@depp5601 exactly. And SSDI sends applicants to their own doctors. Which will deny him at 1st but appeal appeal appeal, then judge and that person decides. Nobody cam scam the SSI dept. It's a process. But people who don't know these things assume and then judge others when they don't know facts.

This is the problem somebody should have taught her to get an education and if she didn't want to get an education she should been in it it tutors this is what happens in America when your kids aren't educated in appearance are not doing that job I work 2 jobs so my daughter can go to a private school I went back to college and my daughter was able to get child care they are free there's always and I was on welfare and the same thing she's on but you don't have to be nothing I learned from my grandmother that I didn't have that Much money coming from welfare and my daughter and I always lived in an upscale very nice place but we had no money left until it all went for rent then I decided to do housework and the housework that I did they were able to give me food and toothpaste and that kind of stuff is soap so there's always a way you just have to think and use your head and have a head that you can't use I don't feel sorry for this girl I don't feel sorry for that guy he could get-up-and-go to work at Denny's work at McDonald's he could go and do something there's if II see people that's handicapped and hobbled a lot Brown they have disabilities and they work and hes not hobbling around hes doing there's no reason he can't work to do something Volunteer to use those kill skills for a job😊

We are so blind when we are young. Starving for all the wrong things and things we have no idea about. If they can't educate us in school maybe they could teach us how to take care of ourselves, that would be a step in the right direction.

I'm only 63 and I'd love to go back to work but my ex job said no,so now I'm on ssdi because of spinal stenosis, you can get that at any age,it hurts.
The pain from spinal stenosis pain is horrible. Every six months, I have radio frequency ablation to treat it.

Are they taking advantage of a kind, elderly lady? Six months living rent free & still no way to support themselves, no plans to change their situation? The game plan is living dependent off govmt assistance & charity from the lady they are living with. I'm all for a hand up, teaching how to interview, how to work hard, how to budget & save with goal of living on their own, but just supporting grown kids while they do nothing to change their situation isn't helping them become self sufficient & productive citizens. Just because girl is in school, she could work part time at restaurant or some other job that welcomes part-time students. Lots of students work while going to school. My hubby worked FULL time while going to college. Her answer made it seem like she was using her student status as excuse for not working. She seems like minor, not sure why she isn't with her parents, but living with a guy who cannot support himself, let alone her, probably not her best decision. Sad state, without someone teaching them & pushing them, they will have no future hope of being independent & self sustaining.

@@kathymills3476 adrenaline is most likely the reason he was able to do that. Adrenaline from anger cam make anyone have a burst of energy to do what they normally cannot do. I speak from experience. I have RheumatoidArthritis, spurs on my lower spine, really bad sciatica on both side, right side the worst, and I just fell down stairs and dislomy hip badly...im madder than f**k right now at being evicted from my place under lies and I get spurts I'm able to pack and move boxes. One incident of "strength" isn't equal to routine daily physical labor (a job). I'm not defending him in the matter of him abusing her...he's a piece of shit. But if he's disabled....nobody can judge if he is or isn't capable of physical labor. You're not his doctor, you don't see him daily ect.

This is why our social security is going broke because of all the young people who have never worked receive money they never helped in contributing. Now those of who did work over 40 years are being told our money that we contributed won't be there for us.
What you're saying is a very small percentage. It is very very hard to get on disability. I know. I have heart failure, sciatica on both sides, spurs on my spine, rheumatoid arthritis, regular arthritis, diabetes, PTSD that is so severe. It took me 1.5yrs to finally be approved after 6 denials and me going in front of a judge with a letter from my doctor. SO yes I am sure a small percentage of people slide thru the cracks and get approved but it's HIGHLY UNLIKELY. So save your uneducated opinion to yourself. Young people do get injured or suffer medical issues that result in being on disability. One thing that causes this is employers who don't have e prior medical care for injuries on the job. They also force people to keep working tho they're injured therefore results in life long disabilities. Workman's comp doesn't fmdo anything. I was seriously injured on the job and sugger chronic concussion migraines the rest of my life due to my employer not having our parking lot of alot of snow. In slipped and fell cracking my head on ground twice. The pain I endured for weeks on end aided in causing my heart failure. And my workman's comp lawyer has basically said I will get close to nothing. Therefore I'm fucked fir income because I cannot do what I once was able to do for work. So before you judge and assume you know the situation...educate yourself and know wtf you're talking about. Those whonjudge & make comments like you did just put more hate and misinformation out there.
I watched the whole episode. Dont feel bad for poor Molly. Shes a thief just like her boyfriend.
