Thank You PSA SQUASHTV for uploading this great match. It's particularly interesting to see how their game is principally similar to current squash, but at the same time the movement of the players is a bit '80s-style. Very enjoyable!

And it's crazy to know that my squash teacher once player against JP in a major tournament!
Well ya but i have squash teachers who have played against almost all of the greats of the game it doesnt seem very crazy tho i suppose once ur finally on the tour
great game, would be interesting to see a match between Matthew and Gaultier back them to see how much their game style has change tough the years

The reffing was absolutely ATROCIOUS at the end of the 4th game.
It certainly hasn't helped any of squash failed Olympic bids that it took us over twenty years to get the squash glass court optics, filming and lighting right just to make the ball fairly visible on tv. I still have some old early 2000s squash videos, but I find them unbearable to watch due to crappy optics.
He definitely got that last shot.

Yeah, it's part of an hour long highlights show of the whole tournament so Jonah Barrington does the commentary and voice-over 'after the fact' so to speak.
