I've been not driving my '65 Chevy Corvair in the winter since 1983. New oil before winter. No ethanol gas and stable. Change the brake fluid too every year and disconnect the battery. These things have worked well for me. It's in a garage, but not heated. The drum brakes will pul to one side for a few miles in the spring but then be fine. Everything he said are things you should do if possible.
How about doing one about getting your car out of storage?
I also take the spark plugs out 1 by 1 and add 1/2 a teaspoon of motor oil and put the spark plug back in. This way the rings won’t set.
@@nomercyinc6783 I didn’t say to change the spark plugs, I said that I remove them and put a 1/2 a teaspoon in, so that the oil will run down to the pistons so the rings don’t set.
I then put the same spark plugs back in so dust doesn’t get into the combustion chamber.
I didn’t think that I had to go into that in depth statement, but apparently you simply couldn’t grasp what I was saying so I had to spell it out for you
a season is not a long time. at all.
