I purchased the LG Oled 65". In my opinion it is THE best picture I have ever seen. Actually it took me about 4 days for my eyes to adjust to the clarity. You will not be sorry.

My friend just got a G3 Paul and it is a beautiful tv in every sense of the word. If I didnt have my C1, which I refuse to part with, I would get a G3 no questions asked. I am so glad you got it Paul and you will be reviewing it ect because your reviews I TRUST more the anyone on UA-cam! Your the reason why I bought the B10 OLED and my current C1. Like I said your going to love the G3 and I cant wait for more videos from you on it.

What about an a95L?
I purchased recently 77" g3 it's amazing bright and perfect panel also very nice audio speakers specially in standard mode , in india it's come with 3 yrs standard warranty ❤
Hi mate, great video as always. Did you notice any coil whine on bright scenes? My g2 does it. I tried the 55 g3 and didn't notice it but haven't tried the 65 g3 myself. My mate and Mrs can't hear it tho because there deaf.

LG G4 is slightly brighter than G3 but has new Evo gen 2 panel

This is a great TV I love mine, purchased for a very bright extension, the wall mount is excellent, our electrician put a double socket behind tv, but he didn’t know it was to sit flush, so I have cables running down under my soundbar, the onboard sound is pants though, I purchased the LG GX soundbar and what a nightmare that is to install 😂, sticking templates together, patience is a virtue and it looks professionally installed.
I first purchased the C2 in 2022 and I was hooked on LG displays.
Is it easy to pull the TV back out? Does the bracket lock up or anything like that? If I want to hook up new cables to the TV is that easy to do?

A95K has better colour accuracy motion processing and upscaling the A95L destroys G3 and A95K

Will you be doing a video on how the TV does on the OTA antenna, scanning for stations, picture quality etc. I live in the US and I get my TV from the local TV stations and streaming. I notice the G3 also has Atsc 3.0 next gen TV for the US. Not many stations here are doing much with that at the time being, but hopefully in the future. Just got this TV yesterday.

I got the 55" with g1 soundbar. The soundbar has disconnected 3 times in the last week. The worst thing is I'm getting swirly lines in the background and can't seem to get rid of it can you suggest any settings to help. Didn’t notice it when first got the tv so not if it's something I've done. Tia

Would be impossible and wrong for me to say. But for the average user, burn in shouldn't be an issue.

I got the C3 because it has a stand, the G3 doesn't come with one which sucks otherwise I might have bought it.

I've got the LG GX which I love and has served me well these past few years. Glad to see that the wall mount doesn't seem to have changed since then so if I upgrade to a newer G model the I won't have to swap out the mount. Looks like they've made some decent brightness improvements these past few years
Actually you have to swap it my g1 had a smaller bracket and at the back my g1 has only to "holders"
Ahh damn. I guess if upgrade then I'll have to put new holes in the wall again. Might keep the current GX a bit longer then and wait till I move to a new house before upgrading TVs
There's a new update from LG today but NOBODY is talking about it anywhere yet. I'm terrified. Ny TV says it will update when i "restart" it. Just want to know if it's safe! Ive heard Horror stories about these updates.

Would you, or perhaps someone who has exactly the same model (OLED65G36LA), be able to measure the distance from one of the bottom holes (VESA) to the bottom edge of the TV? I'm wondering how much lower the TV would be if I wanted to get it attached to my existing brackets.
Do you feel this television is too bright?
What people want to know, that we haven't seen covered anywhere else (AFAIK), is what the input lag cost (or any other pentalty), is for playing games in other modes which retain full brightness.

I’ve been advised that the reason 65inch and bigger TVs bend in the middle is because they are removed and handled without center support. Exactly as you have done.

A truly exceptional TV, it's really World class - literally the only TV on the market you can buy that might be better is the SONY A95K but it's so much more expensive and only -marginally- better.

I’m waiting til next year. I bought the TCL 85QM8 and I wanna go bigger and OLED this go around. Definitely late in the year to get a new tv. CES is right around the corner in early Jan, and I don’t wanna regret my decision. 😂 I heard the new Alpha 10 is like nothing we’ve seen before.

I was actually surprised how good the TV speakers audio is. And this is coming from someone who has £1,000 centre channel.
When I went into Currys last week it was the G3 that stood out vs every other TV there (although no A95L or Panasonic MZ available to compare to). The S90C and 95C looked gawdy because of Samsung's horrid vivid mode matched with their high colour saturation, the A95K looked comparatively flat and my goodness the Sony A80L sat right next to the G3 looked broken it was so dull in comparison. The 2022 Philips range looked well it has to be said but they were so far away from the G3 it was difficult to get a read on it. Where the heck is the 908 anyway?
Hey Paul, I have a question about pixel refreshing. Last night my LG Oled prompted me that it would start the 2000 hour pixel refresh. When I turned my tv back on this morning, I didn't get a message that it had completed the pixel refresh. Is this normal? Btw, I also didn't get a message that it DID NOT complete the refresh and that I should start it manually. So I think it's alright, but I'm not sure.
I havent had a notification in the past to say that it has been completed.
But if you cancelled it off by turning the TV back on too early, it would have said that it was interrupted and that it would run again next time tge TV is put into standby.
So it sounds like it has run, and is all fine 😊

Iv had mine from Friday,tho have a bad banding line down the middle of my g3,you would think after all these years lg would fix this.done 2 pixel refreshers and it’s ran around 60 hours,I just no this is a bad one that’s not going away,shows up in bright panning

@@AliDD-p2eAs does the S95C, like poorer motion processing, poor upscaling of SDR content, along with the fact that the HDMI ports aren’t full fat 48gbps unlike last year’s S95B and no Dolby Vision.
@nickxcore74 first thing why are you buying an expensive TV that shows 4k and hdr content to a greater level using for an older content that's meant for old lcd tvs because in case you don't know these were meant for older tvs like lcd and plasma not 4k or hdr in mind like Netflix ane Disney plus second yes it his some problems but again sony ps5 can't display full bandwidth only 34 unlike xbox so no issue at all if you want a good upscale of old content then buy a sony tv it's the best on market for such purposes a lot of people buy these oleds for gaming sjd movies especially the current gen gaming which all on 4k and hdr so don't try to this tv is bad because it can't upscale well most people won't care about that.

Mr TTG, how hot does the panel get? Apparently due to it getting brighter panel gets pretty hot.
I'll keep an eye on how hot it gets, and look to mention it in an upcoming video 🙂
It can get quite warm, depending on what you have on (brightness) - just feel the metal frame around the tv at times!

Have same tv. Sadly i see 1080p content isnt that great on that tv. Also ofc colors argh had to pum to 68 color depth.
Well the LG has better upscaling of lower resolution content than the Samsung, that’s been stated in numerous reviews. The main flaw has only been that game mode isn’t quite as bright as it should be.

is this the same wall bracket like on the G1 and is the position the same?
To be honest, I'd be lying if I said I knew, but I wouldn't be able to say that exact placement of where it was on the G1.
Were you thinking of using an already installed G1 bracket on the G3?
I think the bracket might be different between the G1 and the G2/ G3 (but the G2 and G3 brackets are identical - the exact same part number, which I've been able to confirm as I had to swap a faulty 55 G2 for a 55 G3 recently)

The design is exactly the same, but the G3 is definitely a decent upgrade over the G2.

@@RobertK1993The Sony A95L is £1100 more than the Samsung S95C and the LG G3 at "55”, so to say that people are better off with the A95L is ridiculous as not everyone will want to pay £3000 for a “55” TV. Paul has even said himself that this TV is a decent upgrade over the G2, which is correct as it’s far brighter than the G2 due to it’s MLA screen. You could basically buy a LG G3 or a Samsung S95C with a PS5 and Xbox Series X for the price of the Sony A95L and still have some change left over.
