Idea for the Ship Lore:
The ship belonged to an ancient captain who lived a long long time ago, regarded as the richest pirate ever known. He and his crew sailed the seven sea's until a great calamity happened. A great storm came, and it just lifted the boat out of the water and into the sky. When the captain awoke, He found himself the only crew member alive, with his ship hanging over a great chasm (build one for the lore) leading into the underwater cave. The ship them toppled down, the captain with it. He has remained trapped within the cave ever since, and has over time becomed one with the water (a drowned)

Story: He was once a famous and feared captain along with his crew among the seas, then after years of searching they found the biggest treasure of them all, but it was a curse. The captain betrayed the crew and let them die in the exchange for the treasure of Crystal Mountain. The crew died and the notorious captain named Patrick Whechester became a monster that cannot enjoy his treasure because the mountain closed due to the trigger of taking the treasure from it's original place. Now, after centuries, the captain sits alone on his beloved ship waiting from a spark of hope.
And his name is Captian Spark
And his name is jack sparrow

I think you should keep the name 'Captain ???'
We _know_ he was a captain, maybe even one of the best seen in this lore. But maybe while searching for the biggest treasure in the area we find the ship at today, long before it became a lush cave (explaining its appearance in the lush cave now), something went wrong; it's never clear what it is. And with the destruction of his ship (and quite possibly his crew), his name and what exactly happened to them was forgotten, but definitely not all the stories of plunder and adventure that happened before.
A pirate ship in a cave? The obvious name for the captain is One Eyed Willy for that sweet sweet Goonies reference

The ship was affiliated to water caves expolartion but a landslide got it trapped here with no hope of escape. the captain refused to give up and waited until his death but stayed "alive" because of his determination and not acceptation. (treasure was here because they found ores in their expedition and stored them in the ship). The wildlife on the boat (rats in the hold, dolphins following it, etc... has developped into the cave for years and years to make it look like we see it right now ! ("Wellan" for the fish's name if you see my comment beacuse my name is too long X,D)

Hi. I thought of the perfect lore for your ship. Ok so captain zurg ( the diamond zombie) was the richest and most powerful pirate on the sea, but he was never satisfied with is gold and diamonds. So one day while sailing he found a map in a underwater house that showed the location of berried treasure. Of course he followed it with his many dolphins who gave his ship great speed. When he got to the location it was in a huge cave. He ordered his crew and the dolphins to continue going in. Then suddenly there ship got sucked in a whirlpool damaging the it. When captain zurg woke up he saw that they was in a lush cave. He noticed that he was trapped in his cabin and his crew was non responsive. He’s been trapped ever since.
You should maybe build a mob switch next time, so you can build without any mobs spawning

I have a small lore:
One day the captain of the ship Heard of a cave Full of valuables and went There with his ship and crew but when he got There they shipwrecked and where Stuck. The capitain started eating Glow berries and Rotten flesh from zombies, One day he got the urge to eat his crew, he did… He Became a zombie and is stuck forever with his ship, his armor and his valuables.

my story :
Once upon a time, there was a ship that was sailing through the vast ocean. It was a grand vessel, with tall masts and billowing sails. The crew was made up of seasoned sailors who had braved many storms and sailed through many treacherous waters.
One day, as they sailed through a dense fog, they suddenly found themselves in the midst of a terrible storm. The winds howled and the waves raged, battering the ship mercilessly. The crew fought bravely to keep the ship afloat, but it was no use. The ship was tossed and thrown, finally crashing onto rocks and breaking apart.
The survivors washed ashore on a mysterious island, where they found a giant cave. Inside the cave, they discovered the wreckage of the ship, which was completely destroyed. They were stranded, with no way to escape the island and no means of communicating with the outside world.
For weeks, they struggled to survive, living off the limited resources they could find on the island. They searched the cave for any signs of a way out, but it seemed to be a dead end. They eventually realized that the cave was a massive underground tunnel, running through the island.
As they ventured deeper into the cave, they encountered strange creatures and treacherous obstacles. They encountered underground river and had to navigate through the dark and treacherous tunnel, fighting off the threats and searching for a way out.
Finally, after many weeks of wandering, they found a small opening in the cave wall that led to the surface. They emerged from the cave and saw the sunlight, feeling a sense of relief and accomplishment. They had survived the shipwreck and the cave, and were finally able to make their way back home.
However, the experience left a lasting impact on the survivors, they had to live with the memory of the shipwreck and the cave for the rest of their days. They shared their story of survival to others and it became a legend among sailors. The island and the cave were avoided by mariners, known as the place of the cursed ship.

you should build a giant scourge on top of the desert and lore will be completed:
there was once a huge ocean filled with life and treasures, big scourge once guarded the ocean from the sulphurius rains happening on the earth and one day ocean kingdom didnt resist and fall and water drain to caves, there are still rumors about a small part of the ocean kingdom standing below the desert that was used to be the ocean kingdom and desert scourge survived and hiding in the hot sands of desert which is called "guardian of the former seas".
The most thing I liked is that you didn't covered the amethyst geode with sand which adds a nice touch to the ocean ✨✨
Call the Captain ‘One eyed Willy’ from the goonies. His pirate ship was in a cave surrounded by traps
Story: some time in the Old days this empty Desert Was a giant ocean lagoon filled with exotic fish and beatyful Corals. But under this Lagoon Was a cave that feared to fall in on it self. And the Day came it happend and all the beatyful sealife and the ship of an young Pirate fall down never to be seen again. Many years of not beeing found, a traveler found this now beatyful oasis deep in a cave. He turned it in to a Paradies with New fish and an zombie to remember the captain of this ship. Now he can secure his Tresure in there where no one will find it.

Lore idea + build idea: lore = the ship + all the other things have been sucked down by a huge sink hole.
Build idea = Build a super cool sink hole and maybe make it so the desert looks like a drained/dead old ocean

Story: You need to find nearest sea to this place and then carve a tunnel connecting to that place filled with water, once while he was resting in his hideout( this place) due to earth quake, entire mountain fallen completely blocking the tunnel, actually it was trap set by his opponents, captured him in his own cabin while he was sleeping using that powerful trapdoor which can only be removed by advance tech weapons(enchanted) which was not there in his era... trapdoor is actually saving him also from demon god taking his soul even though he is already dead, that is why he is still alive, and and and.. there is one secret door out that is portal which his opponents used to get away after capturing him.

However, as time went on, the emperors became corrupt and exploited the people in order to increase the size of their treasure hoard. Eventually, the people rose up in armed rebellion but the Emperor's loyal admiral named Atlas was able to crush the rebellion. Although Atlas protected him faithfully, the greedy Emperor did not treat him any better than a common servant. This injustice drove Atlas to pillage the Emperor's hoard and set off on his famed dreadnought with a few of his finest men to found their own kingdom in distant lands. After they had left, the Emperor had discovered this betrayal and with his unrelenting malice, cursed Atlas and his crew to fail in their journey and to live an eternal, wretched existence. Atlas's mighty dreadnought was blown into a cave by a massive gale and ran aground. The mouth of the cave collapsed immediately after trapping Atlas and his men and leading them to slowly erode and decay. Millenia later, when the biomes have shifted, and the Emperors have long ago died, Atlas and his crew still lay in their eternal imprisonment, never forgiving the cruel Emperor that condemned them to this fate
This was one of coolest builds I have seen in a long time. Absolutely stunning! Incredible job and definitely worth all all your time and totems.

Long time ago, before the desert was in the place where it is now there was a massive ocean. Many pirates traveled through the ocean, as it was filled with many treasures and riches. One time, a pirate ship traveling to the biggest treasure yet, found another pirate ship with the same goal. They were the most known pirates in the whole world. Capitan whos name was always unknown and their crew, didnt like seeing an enemy trying to get to the same trasure. The enemy capitan and his crew of a ship named Endless Vibrations were known for "shaking the ocean". When the two crews met under the cave containing their dreamed treasure, they started fighting, both of them wanting the treasure very badly. Both of the crews were strong, but only one of them could win.
After a lot of fighting, the final strike made by the Endless Vibrations put Capitans Unknown ship to the fall. The ship sunken, the crew fell with the ship.
The Endless Vibrations crew might have killed the opposite crew but this was not an success. The defeated ship fell right into the cave with all the treasure, and because of its size, the entrance was unreachable.
With the bad news spreading all across the world, no pirate dared to cross the lands ever again, everyone declaring that the place was cursed. Over time, the place started to dry and since then milions of years passed, leaving the place as a lonely desert, covering secrets of the past pirates under the dry sand.

Call him Captain Kidd. The shipwreck is the long lost Quedagh Merchant. After all this time, Captain Kidd has returned to his ship to find his missing treasure.😀

Lore
The desert above the cave was once a large, plentiful ocean where pirates and voyageurs sailed. However, a greedy captain (Insert cool captain name) went in search of a cursed treasure it was said the treasure would bring immortality and this was true, but it came with a cost. The captain set sail, heading to the underwater cavern his ship anchored just above. After fighting his way through a trapped and monster filled cave, he made it to the treasure, stacks of gold and diamonds lay in wait for his taking. He orders his men to grab as much as they could. However, as soon as they picked the first coin up the cavern would open up from above swallowing his ship, bringing it into the depths. Then closing back up completely, he was now trapped in the cavern without any way to escape. Being bounds there forever slowly rotting away as the days went by he went mad going insane his flesh began to decay his bonds began to stick out. He slowly withered away becoming a legend.
(extra idea) You made a deal with him to keep your treasure safe or smth and that is why you can freely enter without being attacked by him and his crew.) (Also had like a bunch more drowns just use honey blocks, so they can't jump and surround them with random blocks and stuff. have them like manning some like cannons or smth)
Lore: The ancient Egyptian's were attacked by the wither they escaped underground and found an endless supply of water they built a boat but over time they aged after 5000 years the ship was rotten and broken down but the captain, Captain Nephthys was still alive haunting the ship for Eternity to protect the ancient gold, diamonds, and treasures

Honestly, this would be a cool thing to put in vanilla Minecraft. It feels like Agartha, with an entire world living below the surface. Iit'd also expand the underground more just to fit the gargantuan world-spanning chasms.

You should add a conduit to the ocean so you can swim freely in it and explore… maybe it’s part of the lore it was this super special and secret cargo that was the cause of the captains demise and the ships final resting place
I would add some beach bars, and beach huts and paths around the side

That with the drowned and the shipwreck all that in a cave remembers me about a movie of Pirates of the Caribins

How about name him Captain Salazar. From the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead men tell no tales. Basically his ship is stuck in the devils triangle or a cave. He is turned into a zombie/ghost and stayed there for almost eternity until he got out.

I believe it would be better if you changed the drowned "Captain???" to hold the diamond sword (I think that would be way cooler).
You are into the late game so maybe you should build a sand duper, a wither skeleton farm (for skull, coal & bone), and a mob switch.

you should have made a camp site on that little beach in the cave instead of the ocean ruin to createe a story that the survivors of the ship, couldnt get back out of the cave and ended up setteling down there. would be cool

Easy tip to collect sand more quickly than shovels just craft tnt place one and blast it it will almost give you stack of sand in 1 tnt and just keep doing it it will me more quicker to do that
U should create a small cover with a skeleton of a king sitting on it with a trident in hand. The boat is there to find the treasure

You can use the cave you build for important items for making an aquarium in which you put the most rare fishes and your first blue axolotl so your important items theme will continue
You could make a broken light house close by it so it looks even more cooler
All of this reminds me of "The Goonies", so a good name for the captain could be "One-Eyed Willy"
