"why does this look bad?" because Endstone is an inherently hideous block and it is near impossible to make it look good in builds. These all turned out really cool! I think my favourite is the honey biome.

I think the only thing missing is for the trees in the chorus forest to have some white on them, like the chorus flower does. Your idea of adding light sources there was a good one. Maybe pearlescent froglights would work? They've got a kind of gentle purplish hue that matches the white parts of the chorus flower.

I got an idea for you, connect these biomes to the end gateway portals and have the end portal exits be villages with the theme of the biome they are connected to!
quick one, when you're using the biome finder, make sure to change the java edition to 1.20+ as the one from your slime biome screenshot is 1.18. I made the same mistake
I reckon 4 bridges from the middle island to the outer ring (I was thinking wooden rickety bridges but idk) coming from the 4 sides of the temple, would look pretty nice. Maybe add a small pathway with different kinds of end stone and similar type of blocks too
