Hello! I'm Greg and this is my Channel, GSPseafishing. This channel is dedicated to sea fishing, mainly in the South East of England but also further a field into Europe and Beyond! The main aim of this UA-cam Channel is to help beginners and experienced anglers alike, to promote good practices and to help out fellow fishermen with tips and techniques. I regularly fish the Kent coast and also visit the Canary Islands once a year for a weeks fishing. Im always taking a fishing rod with me on any holiday I go on and like to capture the action to share with you all.

In this video Pete, Mark and myself headed to the far South of Fuerteventura, 50 mins drive down a dirt track, to Punta Jandia. We were looking for a place to fish for the day and stumbled across a small jetty with relatively deep water right in front of our feet. Between us we float fished and lure fished and caught some nice fish. A great Mark with great potential.

What state of tide did you fish what is the best wind direction for chucking out 60gr lures

What a cracking location mate and a few fish about I am surprised you haven't got a landing net for those rock marks it would make life alot easier ! And they are cheap as chips in the China store ! Well done guys on finding a great spot
Never really need a net. If 8m fishing the rocks I get a fish onto the rocks with the swell and on a beach I just beach it🤦 this mark is something a bit different but still i would have room to take a net I'd have to buy one and leave it

Hi greg you ok pal, that looked a nice spot you sussed out there. Some nice fish aswel. I was out yesterday n managed 1 rockling 2 flounder n 1 dab all in last hour or so on the humber. I would like to wish you n the boys n family a very mery xmas from GRIMSBY.

Gutted for Mark losing what could have been some decent fish , plenty of fish caught though so makes for a good vid 👍🎣
I was gutted too🤦 that was a couple of free meals at restaurant lost at the last😂🤦
We all been there with the lost fish :( 1 lost fish is a half landed fish but 2 lost dont make 1 landed ;)

When I fished there in 2020, I was warned by the garda civil that parking of the car by the jetty is illegal, because it is a nature reserve. I had to drive it back up the hill where there was a small parking area by the dirt road. Interestingly they didn't ask for my fishing permit though.
Hi Vladimir. They never ask for a fishing permit 🤦 they always have other issues. Come to think of it I think I may have been beyond the white coast markers so they are probably right🤦
@@gsp they pulled us a few years ago for parking beyond the white markers down costa calma, not fun in the dark when two bods come down with machine pistols [ or some form of automatic weapon,] unsettling to say the least
Hi Greg, did anyone have whack a lead out to see what the bottom was like ?
No Darren I didn't bother. From Google maps it does look like there are sand patches but at probably 200yds plus. I'll let you be the first to do it😂

@@gsp We didnt make it down there as there were 4 of us inc 2 non fishers. Smashed the Bonitos, white Trevally and Cudas on my new hardcore minnow set-up though..

Giving Mark a hard time is funny, you lifted your fish whilst you're telling him to go the long way round and he never caught on lolol?? Also, that fish you dropped will almost certainly have died, should've kept it for bait and practice better handling for next time... Hahaha sorry I couldn't resist having a go like you do to poor Mark...🤣🤣
I should have used it for live bait under a float. I doesn't matter how hard you try fish will flap out of your hand now and again. The blues he had were to big to lift but it was frustrating watching 2 escape🤦😂
landing those fish would have been easyer with a net.
Unfortunately I haven't got the room to take all the items I need on holiday and a net is one of them🤷🤦

WHAT NO LANDING NET!!!
No room for it in the case and it's never needed. On a beach you beach the fish and on the rocks you pull it onto the rocks on a swell.
@@gsp 2 lost blue fish says otherwise.
