      Do you guys sell a kit that would just replace the four speakers and tweeters on a pro xp ultimate? I just want to upgrade the speakers and add an amplifier. The stock system kind of sucks. I don’t have room for Tower speakers and would prefer to put a rear sub in instead of underneath the dash.

    The highs and mids are amazing on this system. The bass is lacking. I had the level 4 Polaris sub from you guys and there isn’t anymore bass than the level 4 system🤷‍♂️. I think this system is a 3k system. Not a 5k system. Nice but not 5k nice. This system took about 5 hours from start to finish to Install. Very easy, thank you for the great videos you make.

    Looks like a nice system. Wish it would use the rear speakers instead of pods. I have a Polaris tire rack so not sure this will work. Also have a bunch of wiring from my xtc kit and rock lights where the sub would be installed. Maybe I could swap out for the rear sub instead?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  День тому

      Yes, technically you can use the rear sub without using the front subwoofer. They are wired in parallel, so running either one is possible on the sub channel of the amplifier.

    have the stage 6 kit with ride command on a rzr pro xp. The back left can starts cutting in and out after about 20 minutes then the right can follows. Any ideas? This is all brand new stuff. The dealership I bought it from installed it and they can’t figure it out

      If the dealer installed the system for you, please schedule a time to have the installer do some troubleshooting. Fixing intermittent issues like this isn't a quick fix, they will need to do several checks on the system wiring. If the dealer cannot figure it out, they should contact our technical support. We're available tomorrow thru Friday 8am-5pm PST at 1-800-669-9899.

    FYI, going through an install. At about 28:53 ish, connecting the bottom portion of the sub to the top, it indicates to make sure the bottom oring and the top oring seat together. The top in the video actually looks like it does have rubber oring as well. However, I called and confirmed, there is only 1 oring and it's on the bottom piece. Just make sure the top opening lip properly seats in the groove on the bottom oring to form a seal.

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  5 місяців тому

      Yes, as mentioned on the phone there is only 1 gasket. I realize I said "upper and lower o-ring", but I was thinking about the actual plastic lip of the upper tongue would fit into the groove of the lower. Probably could have used a different choice of words.

    What ohms on the subwoofer?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  Рік тому

      It’s an M2D4-10IB, so it’s a 4-Ohm DVC woofer wired in parallel to create a 2-ohm amp load. The system is designed so you can add the Rear Subwoofer Add-On without needing to reconfigure anything. The M5-1500X5 is perfectly matched for the subwoofer system.

      @@rockfordfosgate apparently your rear enclosure doesn't work with a Turbo R 4, so I purchased a SSV rear enclosure with their sub. Are you saying that this is designed to run 2 10" subs?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  6 місяців тому

      @@FrostyFilms704 Our Compatibility Chart shows the RZR19PXP-RSS is compatible only with RZR Pro XP 4 models. It is designed to house one 10” subwoofer. The entire system can support two 10” subwoofers that include the front under-dash 10” sub.

      @rockfordfosgate  10 місяців тому

      The installation of this kit is exactly the same for a 2-door as it is the 4-door. The only difference between the two models is based on upgrade-ability. You can’t install the optional RZR19PXP-RSS rear subwoofer on the 2-door model.

    Anyone know if this kit fits with the spare tire carrier?

    • @rockfordfosgate
      @rockfordfosgate  2 роки тому

      We have not tested this system with the Polaris Spare Tire Carrier. However, looking at the clearance from their install video, you would likely need to mount the 8" Wake Cans on the OUTSIDE of the ROPS as noted at our video time-code 24:33 "Rear Clamp Installation". You may want to look at the Stage-5 system that has smaller 6.5" Moto-Cans that will not protrude as far from the ROPS if mounted on the outside. Depending on several variables, it *may* be possible to mount the Stage-5 moto-cans inside the ROPS, but we cannot guarantee fitment.

      Be sure you're disassembling all the panels as shown in the video clips below. If these aren't completely removed, it will make the installation harder:

      • 03:02 Quarter Panel Removal
      • 04:03 Lower Panel Removal
      Once the panels are off, running cables across the rocker panel and connecting the speaker pod to the main harness on the top of the dash shouldn't be hard:
