- Starting this build off with a quick audio upgrade from Rockford Fosgate. We are amping this Pro up to a stage 4 audio system with the addition of a Rockford Fosgate 400 watt amplified subwoofer.

Great video man , just bought the Rockford Fosgate pods for the back n the sub , it was tight but really wasn’t bad at all to put in , the pods took longer then then the sub ..

@@lulusoffroad for sure man , and it’s really sounds good until i increase the volume to 8 while driving n I get some cracking , can’t figure it out when just not driving you can crank it up to 10 n it’s clean - everything is plug n play with good grounds , wondering did u ever get that cracking sound when driving at volume 8 ? N if so how did u stop it ?
@benparker4230 I wish I could help you with that one, but I never experienced any crackling whatsoever. So far so good. I would say your best bet is probably contacting Rockford Fosgate as they would be the best & quickest to identify the problem. Hope you get it worked out.
I would have installed the sub last makes running everything else super easy just installed on mine was the last thing I put in

Did you lose the passenger storage above the sub?
Nope! Still got it.
How are the lows? Mine is loud and clear but not much bass.
Mine sounds great! I'm totally happy with what it is. Now....I will say the 12" in my Pro R does have a little more bass and lower range. It's no JL W7 by any means, but sounds great
I’m on the fence about putting the stage 5 upgrade on my Pro R ultimate. I had stage 5 and 6 on my previous cars so I’m worried that the upgrade Polaris offers won’t be loud enough.
Did you install the upgrade on your pro r? Or just add the sub as well?
I did go Stage 5 on my Pro R and the 12" added a bit more thump over the 10" I put in my Pro Xp. Overall, I'm thoroughly happy with the setup. Obviously, there are always other options, but with the overall fitment and sound quality I'm not disappointed one bit.

How on earth did you install the woofer because for the life of me I can’t get the bottom to bolts to connect
I wonder sometimes myself. It was definitely a tricky s.o.b to say the least. You really gotta make sure everything is out of the way. Wires, etc.. and bring your patience along for the job. Hope you end up getting it. Well worth the effort.
Still hate working on this pro dash and center console still a pia polaris designers dont have to work on this car 90 miles on this car and I cant wait to get all the installs maybe I wont hate this car as much this is my 5th polaris right now I am so mad at the designers its going to be my last. Sorry just venting.
Vent away! Sometimes these things make you shake your head. Lol. I can't wait to wrap this thing up and just enjoy the hard work.
