Totally agree. You're a jazz pianist although you think you're not. But what's the definition of jazz if there is any or at least an attempt of a definition. Improvising over a theme or a melody with a small frame of chords I would say. This is my simple attempt of a definition of jazz as someone that has very little knowledge of jazz theory. And according to this definition you're absolutely a jazz player. The most important for me if someone can be called a jazz pianist is feeling. And of this you have an abundance. That's why to me your jazz is very delightful, enjoyable and creates an inner peace because your beautiful soul shines through every key that you strike. One of the most difficult things in jazz I would say is to master the independance of the right and the left hand. But you already mastered this. The level of independence of your two hands boggles my mind actually. This to me is the best proof that you are a jazz player. I watched quite a few jazz pianists that are really experts in jazz piano but a very few do have this astonishing independence of the two hands like you. What you delivered here in this 15 minutes is to me nothing short of miraculous. You improvised in so many areas that it was a joy to witness and learn from your creativity and spontaneity. You changed the rhythm a few times with great ease and made it swing, next time bluesy, then kind a bossa nova and other latin feels. And for real your playing was so together that I heared a jazz band around you although you were alone. I could hear above all the subtile rhythm of a band. Apart from all this you have an amazing personality. A really great radiation. I would say charisma. God and Jesus is shining through you I guess. Because I get deep into whorship when I listen to your praise songs. With your gorgeous beautiful smile (there is no other word for it) you can literally melt even the hardest of hearts. I clicked on your video because of this contageous smile of yours and didn't expect to get to know a lady that is so talented and skillfull with mind blowing musical skills and a beautiful beautiful voice that touches the soul. You're a great inspiration for me.

Sangah, your piano improvisations in the lounge are unmatched. After a half-year break, I have heard them all again - sliding over the keys with such ease, simply fantastic!
I love this song. And thank you very much for playing the beautiful piano. And I don't respect to whom that usually can not play the piano but have given inverted thumbs.

Dear Sangah, if I lived in your town, I would come to hear and watch you play every day, and I mean it. You are so fun to watch and you provide real pleasure to my ears. I am a self taught pianist and Misty was the tune that made me teach myself how to read music, because I couldn't find the audio recording. I fell in love with this tune as soon as I heard it for the first time in the library. Autumn Leaves is one of the first jazz tunes I had learnt to play too. As I work my way through past videos and livestreams from Sangah, I’ll run across a gem like this. First time, I just listened while on a walk to the incredible piano improvisation. Then I played it a second time so I could watch the performance.. which showcased Sangah swinging, swaying and smiling while playing. Such a treat - I’ll be back to listen and watch again!! 👍👊❤️

In this time of #stayathome; I found a gem: Hearing you, playing this wonderful music, the video on my big screen... drinking a glass of fine Chardonnay... and I am instant in a luxury hotel at the bar... And if I am alone, I get the blues and I am listening to your interpretation and get it, every tone, every tune...the mood. And if I am not alone, I am in the mood to talk, to listen, to love. And your wonderful performance is the trigger... Thank you very very much, very appreciated... And by the way: You are an awesome jazz pianist... But in the end, that does not matter: You are an "one-of-a-kind" wonderful musician... that's what matters. Greetings from Lower Saxony in Germany.
A Monday morning Lounge twofer, great!!! Another appearance by Vince, great!!! Classic songs beautifully done. great!!! Loved all of it Sangah!!!! And congratulations on topping 200K on your 2-5-1 video, great!!!!!

Autumn leaves falling thru the misty air as Sangah pumps her music out to all of her _,_,_,_,_,_,_ ? ? So Why not give Vince and us a name ? Why Not ? hey wait . ... Why not call us .... "Sangah's Whynots" ? Beautiful performance !
You’re so inspiring Sangah! I’m learning jazz piano and find your music so cool! It’s also so awesome that you’re a Christian!! God is so good in giving us the gift of music. Keep using your gift to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. I hope to check out your live streams one day!! ❤️
You are so natural, without ego. Truly friendly. How bad the world is that there is a thing called "long distance" so one can't meet. Keep up the good work.
This is truly delightful. I love what you did from 12:08, what a lovely little variation you've created there, and played with absolute clarity and emotion. Your passion for performance shines so brightly throughout these two pieces, I don't know how you can say they're not jazzy and you're not a jazz pianist. You've absolutely captured the soul of these standards here.
You create musical magic with passion and skill. I love your left hand walking bass to complement the melody and improvisation in Autumn Leaves. A delightful arrangement of a classic to enjoy.
I don't know why, but this reminds me of those 101 Strings albums of my moms that I used to play on the console stereo phonograph back in 1962. So soothing, just floating along on clouds, forget your cares. Relax & enjoy the beauty of music. Thank you, this was simply beautiful.
looks so easy, like you were softly dancing on the notes. Been playing piano for nearly 40 years, I really enjoyed listening your video. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
There certainly are a lot of wonderful, positive comments on this video - all well deserved! I've watched this maybe 10 or 12 times. Not sure - this maybe the very first Lounge Series video I ever watched. It won't be the last. "Misty" is simply the best. 😎❤❤ (checked the date - I started watching Sangah around Halloween 2019 with her Beatles compilations so I think this lounge video may have been the first. It is special ❤)
Lovely. Since I never spent much time in lounges listening to lounge entertainment, need I say it's not my favorite way to listen to music?! However -- and I repeat, however -- I did love this. And when you play lounge style I definitely enjoy taking comfort from smooth jazz, 'noodling, or whatever in the background. There are times I enjoy reading a good book with one of your lounge uploads in the background. Just to enjoy your hands on the keys making music that doesn't have to be listened to. Or just to enjoy hearing music that's made for to be in the background as (I think) only you can do it. I've said this before and I stand behind it again now: you are the best I've ever heard. And at my age I have heard many others, believe me.
September 5th- This “Misty” is still possibly one of the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard again and again. So tender, so loving, so delicate in the hands of an expert pianist. ♥️🎹🎶👏
@@rayswick4707 definitely! I’m having so much enjoyment out of this. Each time I hear it, it inspires me to practice or get my paint brush out to paint! 👍👊❤️
Lovely, Ben! 👍🏼🎹🎶♥️💯
I’ve listened to this 1000x... just starting in jazz piano and I’m amazed.
Misty is an all time favorite of mine. You're arrangement is beautiful. Thank you. After this I AM as helpless as a kitten up a tree.
The walking on left hand is amazing... and the impro on right hand is magic !
My wish is that the whole world someday possesses a vibrant spirit such as yours. it will be a far better place. Keep spreading the goodness that you do.
It’s pure jazz! Keep on improvising, I’m sure one day you’ll leave your name in jazz history.
GREAT PLAYING Sangah !!!
I could never play like you, in a million years! Just wonderful. An inspiration!!
There's nothing better or worse. You do your own work. It's another wonderful work! Thank you my friend! ❤👍😉
@@SangahNoona You're so welcome! I just started practicing your method of ii-V-I. :) :)

Beautiful performance.
Autumn leaves falling thru the misty air at Sangah's pace.
Accompanied by Vince and your whole staff there. I think they are all obsessed with you and creating a perfect experience in support of your perfect performance in this perfect "Luxury Hotel".

Beautiful performance !
Haha!! You’re awesome Jack! ❤️👍🏻😉
How lovely playing. This playing comes from soul.... two person together... A base and solo hand with jazz. Perfect.
Just amazing. Discovered you today and so glad I did.
I never tire of listening Sangah Noona playing.
너무 멋져요 automn leaves ~ 최고 연주세요~~^^ 저기 있으신분들 모두 복받으신듯 멋진연주를 현장에서 보실수 있다니~
You create musical magic with passion and skill. I love your left hand walking bass to complement the melody and improvisation in Autumn Leaves. A delightful arrangement of a classic to enjoy.
영상 너무 잘 보고있습니다 좋은곡 감사드려요 영어로 달아야하나 고민하다 결국 한국어로 달아보네요 새해복많이받으세요
I don't know why, but this reminds me of those 101 Strings albums of my moms that I used to play on the console stereo phonograph back in 1962. So soothing, just floating along on clouds, forget your cares. Relax & enjoy the beauty of music. Thank you, this was simply beautiful.
WOW!! 1962?!! I'm honored!! ❤😉👍
Your expression of enjoyment just makes me smile as you play.
looks so easy, like you were softly dancing on the notes. Been playing piano for nearly 40 years, I really enjoyed listening your video. Thanks a lot for sharing this.
Pianowoman from Krypton. The only one.😍😍
There certainly are a lot of wonderful, positive comments on this video - all well deserved! I've watched this maybe 10 or 12 times. Not sure - this maybe the very first Lounge Series video I ever watched. It won't be the last.
"Misty" is simply the best. 😎❤❤
(checked the date - I started watching Sangah around Halloween 2019 with her Beatles compilations so I think this lounge video may have been the first. It is special ❤)
Awesome Steve! Like all of us we return because these gems are so beautiful to listen to while working or cooking. Have a beautiful Sunday!
@@LisaRSArt Watched this again just last night, I kid you not!! LOL!
Have a beautiful Sunday as well!! 😎❤👍
@@stevem8149 ohsome Steve. I believe you completely! Yay! 👍🏼❤️🎶💯🎹😊
Woof! Best lounge piano playing! Woof! 🐶💛
You have a beautiful soul and rhythm in your play. Not cloudy but moody, Not shady but glittering. Thanks for the stunning play.
you will get there Lisa. remember it is supposed to be fun too, not just work. :)
@@rayswick4707 definitely! I’m having so much enjoyment out of this. Each time I hear it, it inspires me to practice or get my paint brush out to paint! But next month, I want to walk for miles with these lovely lounge series when TX weather allows it. Thank you Ray. 👍🏼❤️. Hope you are celebrating your beautiful birthday weekend sir! You deserve it so much. 😊🎊
where we can have the rendition music sheet?
@@hellohe2 only our fabulous Sangah Noona can write this gorgeous rendition’s arrangement. 😊👍🏼❤️
Well said, Lisa. So many songs become great in the magical hands of our pianist. ❤️
i dont care if u a jazz, classical, or noob. i realy enjoying your music.
