I think procreate tries to take a lot of different art styles into consideration so they add many different features
I’ve been using it to combine multiple colors into one, in the sense of figuring out where two colors meet in the middle

Nice, but I was hoping for a gradient fill tool for areas within lines, similar to the color drop fill feature, but with gradients instead of solid colors.
Me too. I guess you have to do a tonal and then use the gradient tool. Or is there a way to make a swatch like in adobe?
You could use the selection tool or apply the filter with Pencil.

how do you edit the gradient map you've made to the image once its applied? be nice if it wasn't so permanent like in photoshop you can go back in and adjust the gradient nodes

I love using procreate yeah it cost money but if you buy it you won’t regret it ITS THE BEST
It’s not as expensive as paying monthly fee for Adobe apps that don’t work.
It costs like 10$ to have it forever, where photoshop is like 20 a month.

If I choose ‘gradient map’ I get 1 option, not a library. Only ‘mystic’ (purple to pink). How do I get the rest..? I have the lastest version.

I accidentally deleted the app and when I went to reinstall it I had to pay again. I’m not complaining I’m just regretting my life decisions
They should have a login feature where our art works are saved! It s really frustrating because what if you buy a new iPad? Or want to switch devices?
You mean pay again in the App Store? Any purchases made in the App Store should be tied to your iCloud account if you have one, so you don't have to pay again.
I also had to install procreate on another device and did not pay twice. Try it again. But on any device are different drawings...
Does anyone know if you can delete the gradient once it has already been applied ?
Umm I made a drawing in procreate on my IPad using blues and purples for shading but I want to change it to a gray scale to do this do you know how?

I can’t find the gradient maps cause when I click on the wand it seems I miss a few effects ( and yes I have the paid version )
You might still have the old version, try updating in the apple store or uninstalling and reinstalling. I just downloaded the app yesterday and it definitely has the gradient map feature!

Doesn't mean you have to specifically get an iPad Pro. There are other types of iPads too- fact, I got my iPad for 200-300 dollars

Hello! Once you have saved it on your layer, you won't be able to undo that gradient map.

Since procreate doesn't allow you to edit gradient maps like all the other apps I suggest making copies of your grayscale before applying the gradient
How do I draw a square and not get out of it😩
Do you need a apple pen for it?
It works without, but it's way better with the pen, since it's a pressure sensitive pen (can get different pen tip sizes and opacities without changing it constantly)

You don't need an ipad pro. I have a 7th gen iPad, it works great on it. Just can't use face paint function 😊
