I run mine on 8s with tailerons. It's a little beast. I just assembled my 2nd one. The 1st is getting the gear ripped out to cut weight and to be a dedicated hand tosser. I hit 133 with it today
Ironically I had the same exact issue with the horizontal surface one tightened perfect went to secure the other side and it would not tighten I just gave up it appears to be secure but I am worried it might snatch off in flight . I think I should do something like you did btw the CG is back on the wires with that 4000 I almost lost mine I was more forward didn't like sitting the battery on the wires I was extremely nose heavy I am using a lighter pack
They are just some unmarked paint sample cans I have in my garage. I mixed them years ago and I transferred them to baby food jars to save on space, so other than "Dark Gray" or "Medium Gray", I can't really offer any useful information to you, sorry.
I used the "copper" color from my Createx pearlized paints (link below). I put one part of paint to three parts Windex in my airbrush and gently applied coats until I was happy with the result. a.co/d/3fDsvwy
Great vid, happy that you adressed my 2 main gripes when looking at the pictures for the first time (the canopy tint and the exposed servos)
Let’s go! Can’t wait to maiden mine! Something nice about a good flying 70.

Good remarks and great tips ! Could you please share the references of the 3 paints that you used ?

@ShadowVFX Thank you for taking the time to reply. Maybe one more question.... What gold paint did you use? Gave the canopy a lovely realistic touch !
