Australia? Remember Jonah's u-tubes. Believe the beautiful textile cones are highly toxic. If critter still inside. Gloves, do be careful so no harm come to you. Appreciate your video, truly wonderful variety of different shells. Thank you so much!
Yes, East coast. Yep, they are one of the most venomous Conidae, possessing a harpoon-like radula that injects a complex toxin which can be fatal to humans, so one must always be sure the shell is empty before trying to pick it up. Thank you very much!
@@billrobbins5874 Thanks! I hope to be able to show off many interesting west Pacific shells (live ones too), and those that can't be found easily at the beach, I can show from my collection.
Really not a bad video. Would like the common names of seashells tho. Please do this for us viewer's. I know most shells as I am a professional collector in USA but I prefer common names. Thank you.
I don't usually use (or know) the common names for a lot of shells, I like binomial nomenclature because it's unambiguous, but I can try to add common names (and I do give some common names in the captions) . Thanks for watching!
I love your videos because I can learn from them, thank for share with us . Greats from Nicaragua, Central America
Thank you so much for watching! Glad you find them informative.
