"BETWEEN DREAMS" | A Student Short Film (2024)

"Between Dreams," is an original short film following the internal journey of Cassie, a teenage girl, who is coming to terms with how she avoids living life to the fullest as she is consumed with finding meaning in her dreams. Created by Brynn Daigle, a high school student in New Hampshire.
There was a $0 budget, and everything was done with equipment the team had readily available, locations the team had access to, and sets built from household items. Ex. the green dream sequence had bars of light, created using the silhouette of a bedframe put up on its side. The pre-production took place during the winter of Brynn's junior year under their digital art teacher, Mrs. Sanborn. The filming was done within June, the following months consisted of editing, color grading, and working with the composer and was completed in late August.
