Scotty, boy, I'm glad to hear you mention religion. I was raised Southern Baptist and was disheartened by many pastors and their 'messages.' Those 'traditions of man' have lead me to a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior. Religion is manmade, the Bible never speaks of religion. All you need is a personal relationship with Christ and his word. I have studied religion for decades and found that my closest relationship with Christ is fellowship with strangers and reading the Interlinear Bible. Prayer multiple times daily, spreading his word, kindness, love, positivity, and reading scripture is all you need.
Jesus and the Bible spoke often of religion…”The religious leaders” who fought Jesus continuously throughout his ministry especially when he told the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven” and the prostitute who cried on Jesus’ feet he told her, “All your sins are forgiven” and the woman who was about to be stoned by the “religious leaders” because she committed adultery “I don’t condemn you. Go and sin no more.” And the “religious leaders” conspired with Judas to have him hung on the cross and even there, He told the murderer who was dying next to him and showed remorse for his sin, “Today you will be with me in paradise.” Soooooo…as you said, our faith should focus on the only Man who has authority to forgive sin versus religion.
@@WilliamFluery, with all due respect, the Biblical definition of 'religion' isn't what it has become. In the Bible, it refers to Christianity, not Catholics, Baptists, etc. It refers to faith above all else. John the Baptist wasn't a Christian because he died before Christ was crucified. He died for his Faith in a Man and His Word. What came after was Christianity. The Bible refers to that as the 'religious' sect-just Christianity, not Catholics, Baptists, etc. That division of Christianity into different sects became what we know now as religion is a manmade construct, and this is not what the Bible refers to when written. Faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior is the avenue to Eternal Love. It is not going to a church and listening to what someone thinks you should learn about. That isn't loving Christ to the fullest. That's equivalent to someone else doing your homework. People, The Body of Christ, and gatherings are called Churches. A church isn't a brick-and-mortar building. It is simply a group of people gathering and witnessing to each other about their Faith.
well, that's an interesting perspective or 'lens' on the world and I'll leave it at that. Growing up catholic in catholic schools through H.S. had me lose the faith from when I was old enough to be taken to church till I ended going by age 12. Maybe a good man, but I'll pass and stick to my own moral compass.

Last Saturday, our condo has it's annual electricity maintenance process, so we're out for about 10 hours. I was thinking of doing a "Regular Guy" scene, you know, traveling to the small cities. Of course, the wife and I are in a '22 Innova and not a scooter. We left Mandaluyong and went to MOA (Mall of Asia) at 8:00 am. Nothing opened so we stopped at a Starbucks along the bay. My first time trying a Caramel Frappe. I think I'm addicted. We left and ended up at Robinson's Mall (Magnolia). We stayed lunch and hoped our condo was ready early, so we drove back. It wasn't. So, went to the mall across the street, SM Cherry, and stayed until we saw the reflected lights of our condo, which meant the electricity was back on. Sorry Guy, I'm just not one for traveling, motel/hotels and definitely can't be babe-a-rooni hunting going on 11 years wedded bliss! LOL At least I can tell you where all the good malls are. Gotta plan better for next year.
So what’s with going to the Red Palm with the hot girls and end up staying at the unfriendly place with the chubby man receptionist, makes no sense RG.

Cheers!

Hello Regular Guy, is this Baybay Leyte? Place looks nice my hometown is Calbayog City Samar i might visit this place sometimes. Thanx for nice videos. You did good job
The 4Guys at the outside table on that street terrace that you were some time sitting down with, were quite clearly mainly "dutchies" as you will have found out yourself there (final part of your vid, with your hotel friend Dennis included). Speaking the dutch language of the Netherlands among each other, and fully in the beginning, when you walked up in approach, one of them said clearly to be noticed, "ongelooflijk" (is: unbelievable in english). how were they socially towards you?..toffe binken!? BayBay city would be if literally translated in the holland's language : "Doei-Doei"- stadje (of simpel: baai-baai stadje). Sounds even, funnier. Were you having fun hanging out there, scott? Time flew by. Gezelligheid kent geen tijd, as dutchies use to say.
Got to say, I'm still digging on this little music piece you use, " The Guitar riff" ,,,, Think it's kind of grown on me now and I'm not sure why,,,,lol

That Spanish latte was HUGE, and for a paltry ₱150 (U.S. $2.54), OMG Regular Guy is what we call a "skinflint" here in the U.S. of A. Seriously, here in San Francisco, California, that size beverage would be called "grande" or "large." And I know it is all relative, you being in the impoverished Philippines and all, but that grande size Spanish latte would cost you $12.00 here (₱706). But what do I know, maybe in Canada it is like the Philippines, and that's how you are measuring price and size.

So what’s with going to the Red Palm with the hot girls and end up staying at the unfriendly place with the chubby man receptionist, makes no sense RG.
i think SB is afraid of nice looking girls,
I was cracking up when you started treating that little boy like he was a dog. "Can you jump?" "Good boy." 😂
The constant comments about the women being pretty is cringy AF.
No it’s not.
Why ?
Your comment is cringe
There was definite interest there from her Scotty..I’m hoping there was some follow up on your behalf 👍 btw like the hair cut looks good about time 😂😂
09:38 He enters the most popular coffee shop in Baybay and ... "Hello, hello! You have some ahh, coffee?" He sees too many beautiful girls, he is losing his mind. 😂😂😂
Really nice scooter, great to see you not always walking. Great job.
5:35 😂😂 that slo-mo
@@Anotherwanyekerrwho is seloso? lol
The correct timestamp is @6:02 😂😂😂
@@JD-vh5hj woww who's that gwapooo lol
17:50 not bad. You are not even slurring after an afternoon drinking with the boys.
Hey, Scotty--you seem like an affable enough guy and friedly and moderately amusing. All to the good I'm still a bit tired of YT vlogs here in the Philippines--very difficult to keep things fresh without doing all the exact same things and report on the same things as other vloggers or channels do. Cheers!
At least Scotty goes to places that other foreign vloggers don't go. This is my first time to see Baybay City. I thought it is a city in Cebu. 😂
Scottie. When you do your motorcycle review I would like to hear how you keep your belongings secure when you are away from it.
I like the scooter view, amazing that it’s not bouncy ! ❤. 😊
The Bistro girl was cute. You missed an opportunity!

Don't leave your valuables in your motorcycle like cell phone unattended. Take care and enjoy your travel and stay in Philippines. God bless you and your family always...
Great video Scotty 👍👍👍
" GREAT VIDEO ' YOU ARE DOWN TO EARTH KIND HEARTED MAN "
i do my best my friend but many don't like me i think they misinterpret my intention but thanks for your kind words
Got to say, I'm still digging on this little music piece you use, " The Guitar riff" ,,,, Think it's kind of grown on me now and I'm not sure why,,,,lol
The lady you choose only has to be attractive enough. It's everything else about her you have to figure out.
With the coffee, it seems you're paying for the place to sit, the a/c and the location.
yeah but they could have made it a little bit bigger at least i mean dang son it was miniature
That's what I'm about to say to the city I'm in. Bye bye city.
Great video Scotty
its about time
ilive in cebu and i love to take my motorcycle on the ferry to leyte . its so muich fun and relaxing to ride thru leyte and samar visiting all the small towns and communities . you doing what i suggest many do and explore the areas that not famous tourist areas . ive visited leyte and samar probably 30 times and enjoyed my road trips everytime , not to mention how much cheaper it is and more friendly people .
Thanks for showing us around the city of bye bye. 👍😊
Glad to see Driftwood is where there once was Ciudad which was the coffee shop before that mall popped up. Always had good vibes and great views. My wife is from Baybay and I enjoy it there, although the hotel situation (as well as a nonexistent airbnb) needs upgrading...
Glad you appreciated the area, I think of it as a gem that isn't referred to among foreigners.
What uP average Joe, I mean regular guy! Looks fun. There is something about the country side that you appreciate life! It's just more vibrant!
SHES BEAUTIFUL
8:37 she was a cutie and had a glimmer in her eye talking to you.
Bad time stamp

Sounds like you are having an excellent time!
any day that i survive is a good day
Where are you from Pare? Are you from the states? First time seeing your video. You seem to be enjoying touring the Philippines. Take care. Nice ocean view btw.
The bike has next leveled your vlogs. Great stuff with the banter, commentary, and serendipity. Keep ‘em coming and stay safe!
They say sir .. so much. I think you could only it hear that amount of Respect like 5times a year in America Sheesh.
That's Good that you spotted that guy looking around your bike.....give him another 10 seconds and he would got your phone.....
yeah her smile is stunning
That waitress was a gem! Holy Moses!
Definitely a quality restaurant waitress there, not full of herself or anything despite being smoking hot. You might have your hands full there.
Wow i finally get a glimpse of baybay city i lived there for 10 years and worked at baybay port very peaceful less people specifically during day time and more crowded at night i love that city but so sad to see that there's stil a lot of Badjao the lokal nomad carrying baby ans asking for money but i love that city the only city that i had ever been when wearing a helmet on motorcycle is illegal. Thank you for sharing.
Great vid Scotty. Fascinating blend of cinematography with the floating focus on that incredibly beautiful and demure waitress, and then the pondering of religious values for a traveler in a religious land. Well done - enjoyable! Like the bike, too.
Scotty boy… call your channel Regular Coffee!!
The Pointing guy😂😂😂😂😂
Nice scoots Scotty. Drive safely.
I’ve been traveling my entire short life. Walking around annoying people and acting like this is what makes people jaded. These same clowns ruined Colombia and Costa Rica. Just been in like I do.
I enjoy your videos Scott.
chris i'm honored thanks a lot
Scotty Boy, my man, excellent video as always, stunning baby-rooneys at the hotel. the scoot bike, N-Max-i-scootie looking good. I am keeping track when you pass the G--- Man on subs, me and my brother in law met you at Mcdonalds in Olongapo abt 6 weeks ago, pleasure meeting you, down to earth Regular Guy. keep doing what your doing.
Well I thought you were are farken idiot when I first saw your efforts- I now think you are very clever and entertaining- yes I’m near the bottom of the bottle 😂
You said that beliefs come from the heart. I would suggest that “faith” comes from the heart. I’m not religious, but I am a man of faith. I am an engineer, so I spend a lot of time in my logical brain. To have faith in something provides balance. You notice I am careful not to disclose where my faith lies. I don’t want to be pigeonholed, and I’m not broadcasting a virtue signal. I do think your interest in exploring your own soul is healthy!
Scotty boy, you're walking hunchback, now. They're gonna start calling you.Scotty boy from notre dame
DUDE! If you are wondering why ppl are looking at your bike, it's probably not cuz you got a cool bike. It's probably that they are wondering how quickly they can snatch your phone and be down the street before you notice! You should really get into the habit of taking your phone off the bike.
Watching your video reminds me so much of coron...enjoy Philippines sir
You said not many girls, but it is a college town. Visaya State Uni is there. A good college, with lots of girls but young ones.
We are still waiting for you in Ozamiz with the free beers 😂
Hi pal. I’m Dave and I’m 55 and divorced. I love the way you talk about the country girls. If you were me what area would you go to meet a beautiful country girl? I’ve never been to the Philippines but I wanting to go to experience this beautiful culture and beautiful women. Thank you and I love your channel
never leave stuff unattended anywhere in the philippines, stay safe.
