Yeah Jaoanese movie is weird but it is what sparks the interest in me to watch them. I think they r more scary than hollywood horror movies with strange and unexpected jumpscares everywhere.
For westerners who aren't familiar with Japanese tropes, evil-entity-trapped-in-child's-body is a common one. The kid is some sort of malicious spirit who is stuck in that form and presumably tied to the house. From what we see in the photo album, he has spent generations taking young women as wives, using his current wife (now old and undesirable) to lure a new young woman to the house to take her place. His "grandma" was his previous wife who has grown too old, and she was finally set free when Yuri became his new wife. Yuri will likely suffer the same fate; once she becomes elderly, she will also have to lure a new young woman to the house to replace her as Shota's wife. As for the skin-crawling ending scene, it's implied that yes, Yuri will be forced to satisfy Shota in the marital bed even though he has the body of a child. Definitely a horror.
It wasn't scary but it was creepy as hell! An 8 year old perverted child? And the girl bathed with a child she barely knows!? 🤯 Yeah this is messed up!
I think that the grandma was the lady in the pictures & he kept her there also. So when he started liking the young girl; the old lady was like, " Shit that's my que to leave. "
What do you mean "you think"? The movie made it perfectly clear that the Granny was the previous maid that came before the current girl. Stuff's been going on in cycles probably for over 200 years.

Medhavi Singh cause its scarier when its a child because they are seen as innocent and cute but they could be evil and scary
