To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Bro following your advice I returned my Sony XB700 and bought Samsung Buds+. I will say that Samsung definitely have way more features. Buds+ are sleek while Sony's were bit weirdly big. However in terms of sound quality and base, I found Sony's XB700 miles ahead than Buds+. Buds+ are just fine but Sony Xb700 were having amazing punchy sound, groovy and they could definitely make you tap your feet . I am now surely missing Sony ones.

Features don't matter if sound is shit, you made a big mistake.
Got the xb700's for 50$ and theyre hitting pretty hard for a true wireless earbuds. Soundstage is very wide feels like its playing 5-10 centimeters away from my ears which is awesome. Bass is deep and hits hard but its not bleeding or effecting any other frequency in sound. This comment comes from a Hd 6xx, Xb950, Crusher Anc owner.

I have the galaxy bud 1 and like most samsung product after some months battery weakened, which is rarely the case with Sony. Also the Sony has a much richer sound and soundstage (have been and still using their other XB product be4 n just ordered the xb700)while samsung has a tinier and bit weaker (cheaper) sound profile (you can listen to some sample sound test online before deciding)
Granted, in this model Sony
doesn't have much options like other models, but I believe it doesn't need tweaking anymore. Its perfect as it is. Like the simple black colored french dress without the cheap puff and colored and extra accessories . Simple, elegant and sexy

i tried both and the sony is so much better on audio but galaxy is great on everything else. If only the sony had touch controls and you could use each earbud on your own. Over all i might return the GBUDS and get the sony again THAT SOUND WAS AMAZING! You can feel the bass on your ear!

In my country, Earbuds + cost only 100$ on average and you can even get it with only 85-88$ with good deals. So I decided to get buds for gym workouts and WF xm3 (180$) for daily experience, its a perfect under 300$ audio combo

Just purchased these today for £70 and I love them.. if you're into techno or hip hop these are worth their weight in gold.. wasn't too sure about the design at 1st but they do sit very well in your ear once you figure out the twisting method.. bass is on point so very very happy

Bought the Galaxy buds one of them died on me 3 weeks in...seems to be a common problem with the Galaxy buds.so I bought the Sony's I hope they will last longer then 3 weeks.

I think you bought a faulty pair or you might have accidentally damaged them. I've used the galaxy buds for 6 months plus, and the galaxy buds plus for 3 months. They both still work perfectly.
Got the Galaxy Buds+ in December 2020, to go with my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G. I also got the wired AKG USB-C and USB-C to 3.5mm adapter for Xmas. Samsung don't include these with the phone!
The Buds+ sound is great and better than my previous wireless earphones. Call quality is great too. The Buds+ are heavily discounted in price and cost £129 here in the UK. They are comfortable and stay in place. The sound can be adjusted by the Samsung phones sound app, on top of the Galaxy Buds+ app, to get the sound you prefer.
Now, Samsung have the Buds Live, which I could have bought, and the new Pro just being released. The Sony has come down in price too, but the size, the control system and only one bud from one side, can be used singularly. This swayed me towards the Galaxy Buds+.

I just returned a set of Galaxy Buds pro simply because the max volume wasn't loud enough for me to enjoy my music in the factory I work in. That trumped all the cool features those buds offer...I reluctantly went back to the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo buds I was previously using. The volume level and bass output of those aint no joke. The noisy enviornment I work in isn't a problem for those to overcome...And they costed me less than a quarter of what the Galaxy buds did...Going to give the Sony buds in this vid a try.

Sony xb700s have been my favourite EarPods ever, the bass and sound quality is amazing and the fit is extremely nice and comfortable, recommend to any bass lover like myself
I had the galaxy buds +, but i lost one of them or someone stole it nvm, after day searching for the same bought Sony ones, to be honest i think Sony's sound better

They are both evenly much. They both sound pritty good. But i have to go for the sony. To me the sony is way better then the galaxy bud plus. More powerful and deep low end bass then the galaxy buds plus. However i do like the galaxy buds plus also it has good bass. But to me the sony exbs 700 wins hands down . I have both sony wf xb700(recently purchased) and samsung buds +(purchased 1 year ago). Sony has better bass and way louder but samsung(akg) is always winner with great detail and bighter clarity. U can listening music all-day without getting pain in your ears. In spite of being small It has a great battery life than the big sony. It's very easy to carry buds+. Ambient sound mode helps u a lot as u dont have to put the earphone off for listening people and flight announcement. There is very small chance for buds+ to drop from your ear as they fits in ear whole fully.
@@iamarnesh68 my sister owns the buds plus..that's y I chose the Sony..cause samsung sounds flat and tinny.. instrument separation is average..the the mids definitely is shallow..treble is good tho and lows and highs are really good too..vocals are the identical on both earbuds.. clarity can't be justified without instrument separation along with flat mids..as a musician I know which are better'.. thanks for ur comment tho👍

What's up Famo?! Man, another awesome video... U know I love my Liberty 2 Pro's, but guess what? I finally found my Sony WF-1000XM3's that I lost 3 days after I purchased them, they were lost for 6 months! Man, I did a side by side comparison for 2 straight hours, same music, and my beloved Liberty 2 Pro's fell to the Sony's!!! I couldn't believe it, I tried not to believe it, I thought nothing could touch my Liberty 2 Pro, not even the Senn's, that's why I sent them back, but by god the Sony's actually have a tad more bass extension, are much clearer when blasting them at full volume. And sound warmer and richer... The Liberty Pro still has more detail and is more in your face, but I listened to the Blade Runner 2049 soundtrack (a must if u want to test the REAL extension of bass on any headphone) and my jaw was on the floor! The Sony's came out on top, they even put their own big over ear WH-1000XM3's to shame! I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Sony WF-10000XM3 is the new king period.🙌

The Sony XB 700 will do EVEN BETTER if it comes to rich bass numbers. That's why for only this review, customization aside, I Have to disagree that the Samsung buds+ produce better sound. The soundstage alone is much smaller. No comparison.

For me there is no comparison, the Sony earbuds just sound too good to pass on. The sound is what I'm buying for when buying earbuds, my phone has dolby atmos, so I don't care about the app part and even if I don't touch the EQ the 700s sound fire. Yeah a lot of different options and features is nice, but I'd like to listen instead of browse the app. For the money I just don't see how you can top the 700.

Can you use the Galaxy buds with an older Sony smartphone (or newer)?
After my experience with the FIIL T1X... there's no way i will ever spend more than $60 for earbuds..... I don't care about ANC and all that other nonsense.....as long as the sound quality and battery life is good I'm happy with em💯💯
Long as your happy that is all that matters but I find the ambient sound mode on my sony extra bass sports sp700n earbuds convenient in public when I want to hear people,etc without having to take out an earbud.
I have the galaxy buds plus. And yes i have to agree the galaxy bud plus does sound better. But the galaxy buds plus is not at the same league with the sony. To me i think the sony wth the extra bass sound much much better then the galaxy buds plus. However i love your review your UA-cam video is great i enjoy watching your UA-cam. Peace.😇

This guy is probably getting paid by Samsung for the promotion. I would have considered the review realistic if there sony was better in at least 2-3 out of 10 comparisons. It is impossible to imagine for it to lose out on everything when compared to a samsung earbud
Bro tbh, the only thing about the Sony's that competes with the Buds is the sound, because it have better bass. But talking about the experience at all, its a one side fight for Samsung, it have much more features. My opinion
@@lucasfinato8300 someone looks for much more features in case you need a perfect experience, that means a good investment, so either sony xb700 or buds plus wont give you that, you could try sony xm3, senheisser, etc.
This pair of earbuds are straightforward for price and look, so I would decide for one of them only for workout, I would not need many features

Sony’s are better for working out as well as better sound
Buds+ are more for regular lifestyle/every day use.
I personally am looking for some durable gym headphones since my powerbeats pro took a shit on me a couple of days ago. I am in the market for some new earbuds and the Sony’s just went on sale at my local Target for $80. That is the price where I think the Sony’s should be.

Sony's are better for me as I work out/running I sweat a lot and the bass (because I'm a basshead) is amazing. So for me Sony's are the go to I just don't care about ambient sound and the app I just wanna listen to my music when I work out and that's it.

Before buds , i was using JBL , that's why i said that Buds are not heavy in terms of Bass , but , now i feel that Buds are greater than that , because ,i can hear everything now , before i was hearing only Bass 😃
Samsung Galaxy Buds + all the way. Love the 11 hour battery life in the buds and the case, the comfortable fit, great sound quality, the eq in the app, great call quality, and the touch pad.
have bud plus for utility and work outs, sony 700 at home for music and movies. if youre looking for sound, go wit sony, its way better when it comes to sound quality. if you're a metal head or jazzer love music that will melt your brain, sony is a go.
I have both and sony hands down wins. Yes the galaxy buds+ have more features but be honest with yourself those touch pads doesnt work all the time i found myself having to pull out my phone at times to adjust the volume or skip the track. The sony is way better when it comes to music even tho it doesnt have app support it comes out the box 100x better than the samsungs. Wireless charging isnt available for the sony but again be honest not everyone mind plugging in their device with the plug.
Please suggest me which one to buy. Coz I'm stuck in these 2
@@Bilalkhan-hb8uf depends on what you really using them for. I use my Sony cause of the music quality and because the I'm using is the Sony Xperia 1. The galaxy buds I had Bluetooth issues with my phone. If it's true wireless your looking for I would say try the Sony. But the Bluetooth I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND is the OnePlus wireless bullets. They actually have a new set that just came out for 50 bucks and it give you 20 hrs battery life. I have those and the Sony so I tend to switch up now and then with both.

I wanted to get the galaxy buds but they didnt have it where I live. (not in the US) so I went for the sony buds, they are amazing I loveeee them!!! yes I would of liked the galaxy for the smallness and cause it goes with my 1inch plugs I wear in my ears it will make it look like I have plugs inside my ears too LOL!
But I cant complain the sony ones rly have nice bass. and I can hide the buds with my medium size hair covering the buds, so I look like I am not wearing nothing. I only use it when I go out or work out in the gym. For home use I use my logitech g pro for streaming live and watching movies.

Great comparison. Can the Samsung Galaxy buds be connected to two phones at the same time. So if you are listening to music from one phone, and the other has an incoming call, the music is paused to take the call from the other phone. When call is finished, music resumes from the other .device. My cheap Origem HS-1 and Jabra Halo Free both support dual device Bluetooth support.

Amazon has the xp700 on sale very often for $100. I order mine. Seems the Sony wf xp700 gets a lot of bash for lack of gimmicks while placing sound as a afterthought.

@@minaezzat7 Sony has more base, and a little bit better sound quality overall, both are comfortable to wear for a longer time, . The disadvantage of Sony is more bulky, doesn't have app equaliser, and no USB C charging.

Obviously Samsung bud plus. Because it does have 3 mice for calling and ambient sound. Sony's call quality is like normal headphones.

Then people would b analysing if these r really this worth, spending on use and throw items. And yes, the tech will also hve to improve to justify their cost vs life!
