Good job comparing both of them. My girl bought the 700s and that bass is pretty awesome. I noticed that the M3's have a 6mm driver and the 700's have a 12mm driver. So it makes sense that the 700s were going to have extra bass.
Picked up the 700’s the other day. The lack of app with an equalizer is no big deal because the sound is still so good. I prefer buttons over touch control. The longer battery life offsets the fewer charge cycles. Great video!
Bought the 700 bass at 63 $ , was considering the 1000 at 169 but my gut instinct went for 700 knowing that if I don’t like them , I can return & try 1000 but I’m impressed with 700 so much that that’s these are keepers for now , they sound so good & watching your reviews help me decide to keep em & get the 1000 later on when they go on sale for much cheaper, thanks again, happy new year brother, stay safe

I swear to God I have 10 bucks earphones and I'm still saving to get the Sony ones.. And of course mine aren't loud but when I did this holy fkn sht.. As a owner of both I have to give it too 1000XM3 because u can use it with the Sony headphone app and the sound quality and ambient sound control is beautiful experience
I would personally get the 700s. I’m a drummer and I like the bass and the long battery life for when I’m on the road for a weekend. Awesome video and thank you for the help on picking the next earbuds for me

Very clear review and easy to follow along. I will say, I just received a refurbished pair of wf-1000xm3 for $60 at Amazon and they're amazing. Also, you're on point with the comparison. I needed earbuds that would cancel out heavy noise while working out or on public transit when traveling.

Bought xb700 last week, have been using here and there. Just found out today that the prices dropped by 30 for xb700 and 60 for m3. Thought of returning these and picking up the m3 since it would only be a 40 dollar difference. But now after watching this I'm more undicided than before lol. Great review. M3 is better got the xb700 yesterday from Amazon. Only thing it's better than m3 is in bass and IP rating rest all m3 by a huge margin even for bass with the app m3 comes as close xb700 in bass, I sound quality m3 is way ahead

Fit is very subjective you can't put it in cons, they fit perfectly in my ear. They never fall, even running or working out heavy. Also, I see you're using the small rubber thing. Try a bigger one if they fall.
I think the sound on both models are great! However I’m a bit of a “Bass-Head”, so I’d have to give the 700’s the edge on a full rich sound w/a strong BASS! I think Bass is very important but not to overwhelm mid’s & treble. I want a strong Bass, but not to muddy up mids & highs. I consider myself an “Audiophile”, but as I grow older (47), I like the richer Bass, and “Bright”, Treble/High’s do cause me discomfort on long using times. That’s all my opinion. Great video man!!! Frist thing first your UA-cam video is graet first class i would say. Now for the earbuds between two sonys the wf1000m3 and wf 700 i most probably would go for the sony wf 700 because i like heavy bass earbud. I do love the sony m3s a lot because i am a bass head myself i would have to for the wf700. To me the wf 700 win hand down.
i work out alot so i cant have my ear buds falling off but if im ever in a public space i would obviously want noise cancelling I CANT CHOOSE the xm3 has a discount which makes it only 20$ more then the 700 in a sense i get more value but then again i love bass its so hard to choose you really cant go wrong with either

And the other one will stick to your ears but the audio quality can not compared, doing gym with this is fine, hard to loose. Both will cause u some pain if u wear them too long. I got xb-700 and returned it. The bass was good but it was not comfortable and didn't give me the max volume i expected. I had connection issues when paired to my pc.

I feel all round, the 700 is better. With headphones, you get the law of diminishing returns. The more you spend, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a noticeably improved listening experience. I also like the fact the 700 can be used for exercise. Great detailed video btw.

i think its worth it to say that there is no companion app with the 700 so is far less customizable especially how the sony app is really good and can change the sound and turn on and off ambient etc. thats worth a lot to some people that you get with the m3s but the 700s dont compatible with the app
You’re right. That is actually a major difference between them. It is missing from this video. So, for future video’s take a look at the apps (if any) that come with products too! But still this comparison video is one of the best to find on the net! Still a big thank you putting this up!

If it was a different company maybe not such a big deal. Just Sony has from what I believe the best app from all the earphone companies and is crucial for true wireless especially if wanting to switch to ambient sound etc. Tbh idk why this pair doesn't have with the app as even cheaper from Sony is compatible with their app. But it still sounds great out if the box

the 700 are a no brainer and now under 100 the best you can get for that price. About EQ i just use an app that EQ my music, no big deal 🤷🏻♂️
