I've played them all since 1986, when here it's called LifeForce, other places it's called Salamander. To me Gradius V and Gorgeous kinda goes neck and neck. With Gradius V, you get the sinister version, while with Goregous you get a version that makes you dance to it.
It's beyond time we've finally gotten a *Gradius VI* and a *Salamander 3* now that Konami is FINALLY getting their s*** together. That and the Gradius series' 40th anniversary is coming soon in 2025.
I know. -_- But they did say I can send in my ideas. ^_^ But if I told Sega about it, they'd have a word with them. ^^ They care about their fans which is why I'm totally a Sega fan. :)

Castlevania wasn't too bad. However with the right amount of effort I think Salamander could do with a revive or a remaster on the latest gen consoles.
+Remix Rave I never sayed that those games were bad, actually they are pretty cool, I was a fan of Castlevania until they downgraded a lot in the newer entrys.

The NES version is always my favorite. The bass in the first half reminds me of a pool of sticky, boiling “poison of the snake”!
