I wasn't able to convince my parents because they thought that they where dirty and stinky. So I got a job, moved out to my own apartment and now I have one. My sweet princes Arpi. 💚😊
@Aadya Divya Actually they kicked me out to the street because they didn't want to spend money on me anymore, I had to work my a** off to find a job and be able to afford an apartment for my daughter and rabbits. But it's worth it.
Im moving out of state for college and I've wanted a rabbit since I was in elementary school. My mom always said no for the same reason but if I can afford it, I'm 1000% getting one. It's my dream pet!
I’ve been doing so much research , my dad doesn’t want to let me get a bunny. And if I do my dad wants to keep it outside in a hutch I want to free roam it inside my room
Good advice! Even as an adult I spent a year researching rabbits, analyzing my situation, volunteering at the rescue, watching all the Lennon The Bunny videos, and bunny proofing my home before firmly deciding to take the plunge and adopt a bunny. Now, I couldn't be happier! It's work though...but worth it.
I got my bunnies a year ago! And I’m so happy I was educated and now I have two free roamed, litter trained, 1 year old buns! named Fiver and Hazel from water ship down i can’t thank you enough Lorelei! ❤️
Very convincing! It’s really rewarding to just wait until we’re older and can support our pet financially ourselves. There’s really no need to rush. ☺️
In two years I’ll be able to have my own apartment and support my own bunny. I’m really excited because I know that I’ll be able to do what’s best for my bunny then eeeee
Took me 2 years for my daughter to convince me. Now I'm obsessed with our bundle of joy 🐇. I made the best decision to wait and get her 💕 a wonderful companion during the epidemic.
Can you make a video showing the steps to getting a bunny, such as: 1: Buy your Materials 2: Set up the enclosure and/or bunny proof 3: Make sure you are ready 4: Adopt/Foster the rabbit.
I have a bunny and I barely convinced them to let us buy things for Munchkin (my bunny) to travel with us! This helped to convince them more. Thank you!
You are setting a really good example that you need to make sure that your educated on proper bunny care and you have space and you know what is going to happen in the future! Love you Lorelei! ❤️🐰
I am picking up a bonded pair tomorrow that I have already paid for/adopted from my local rabbit rescue! Thanks to you and your channel (Which I AM SOOOO grateful for you & Lennon) My sweet little pair has the most amazing free roam set up in my room! Thank you so much Lorelei ❤️
You are so helpful and kind!! My mom has been saying no to a bunny for three months now, but i’m going to continue to do what you said to do and i have a very good feeling that she will say yes soon, i’ll keep you updated. 🤗🤗
I was thirteen when I got my rabbit and I hate to admit it but I had the tiny cage I the corner of my room. And since then I’m 21 now and my rabbit who is now 8 has her dream life. I chose to upgrade her set up to roaming my apartment 2 and a half years ago. But before then when I was 17 she free roamed my room. Your channel has helped me so much and my girl has always been there for me and Im trying to make up for how I treated her by giving her that life she deserved from the beginning.
I got my bunny when I was 10 years old yes you might think I’m too young or I can’t take care of my bunny but I’ve had him for 2 years now and he’s living a very happy life with me and I’m 12 now I know everything about a bunny and I’m responsible I love your videos keep up the good work xx
I was 11 when I got my first bunny. I have improved my care for them so much due to research and your videos! Now I’m trying to convince my parents to free roam my two bunnies in my room which again I have done lots of research. Thank you so much for these videos they have helped me and my bunnies incredibly! Love Lauren, Honey and Snowball x
I am getting my bunny friday i am so happy i have been watching your videos to help me learn how to care for them so thank you so much for all of your videos i love them all and they all are so helpful love you ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am thirteen-years-old, and my twin sister and I love your videos! We foster rabbits for our local rabbit rescue, and we begged our parents for so long (4 years) to be allowed to. We finally convinced them, and your videos really helped us make sure we take good care of our fosters. We currently have the cutest bonded pair!
Same! I am also 13, (I don't have a twin though) and I foster rabbits from my local rescue (The Rabbit Haven). I wanted a rabbit for so long, and finally when we moved my dad said I could have one. At that point after some more research I decided to start with fostering and maybe eventually adopt. Now after almost a year I am still fostering because it just works better for me in my current situation. Its such a fulfilling experience to care for and bond with all the various foster rabbits. Lorelei's videos also really helped educate me on how to give our foster rabbits the best of care. Our current foster is an adorable little grayish boy with blue eyes :)
I had two bunnies my parents gave them to an adoption centre because I took alot of care of them , they thought that I'm getting distracted from my studies so they gave them back and I'm so broke i loved them alot🥺
I’m sorry to say it but you have the worst parents in the entire world, go tell them now “I need my rabbits back!” Then call up a friend or someone who can take you to get them back. Go get ‘em and tell your parents you are never going to give them up again.
We are very cautious about this situation at the House Rabbit Society. When a child wants a bunny, we make sure the entire rest of the household is going into this enthusiastically and with the proper mindset. One day we had to turn away a mother and daughter who basically hadn’t consulted the males in the family. They were going to keep the rabbit outside, and when we shot that down, they couldn’t say if they’d be allowed to give the rabbit space in the house since the whole household wasn’t involved. Then the next week, we fostered out a couple rabbits to a family with two daughters. They were all incredible at learning how to interact with rabbits. The second grader could lift them properly and everything. They ended up adopting those rabbits and I was very confident that they would have a great life. Everything ultimately depends on that enthusiastic buy-in. Without it, I’m sorry young people. Your future bunny will be much better off once you’re in a better environment. PS bonus fact about the first family: they said the reason they wanted to get a rabbit was because their dog that lives in the backyard is mean and bites. This is the animal they planned to have the outdoor hutch next to. There was just so many levels of wrongness there, and it was very difficult to get them to understand why that was a problem.
lorelei and lennon, you guys were and still are my go-to with taking care of my rabbit Dovey, I have been watching you guys' videos even before I decided to adopt my baby. It took my mom a lot of time to fully convinced her but it was worth at the end, she now loves him and allows my brother to give him the treats :D!. love you guys so much! thank you for honestly, everything!
Hey, I have a question... Why would i put hay on the litter would he pee on the then ingest the " pee hay ". And if hay is 80 percent of there food why wouldn't i put the hay simply in the food bowl. Please respond im planning on getting a rabbit you obviously have experience owning a rabbit
It took me 9 months of trying to convince my mom and dad to get a bunny. I now have a super cute bunny named Bella who is a holland lop! She free roams in the living room and we love her so much! I watch your channel a ton and you have helped me so much!
After 2 years of begging my mom for a rabbit I finally adopted my bunny Lev! But it was for the best because in those 2 years I have learned so much about rabbit care! Btw Lev is a free roam rabbit🥰
I got mine last week, her name is Sophie she is having her Binkies and zoomies on my bed right now❤️ love you guys, thanks for educating me more on bunnies
My bunny recently passed away, you’re one of the reasons why I got her and I would like to thank you for bringing her in my life and helping me take good care of her. GI stasis took her life, we tried her best to help her but it didn’t work...I do miss her a lot but thank you!
I have watched your channel for a couple years and I always wanted a rabbit. When we finally got a rabbit I was able to convince them to let our bunny free roam and I swear I do not regret getting a bunny.
I got a rabbit as a pet for no reason as my other siblings got animals and knew nothing about them then it flipped around once I found this amazing UA-cam account!
I have been wanting a bunny since I can remember but my mom being an obsessive cleaner NEVER allowed me to have one. There was exactly zero room for discussion there. I grew up, I graduated, went to live abroad and I got to adopt an amazing bunny , and she still tried to forbid me from 10 000km away! I said, no, I am old enough and it’s my decision. Now, six years later, I still have my bunny with me. My husband loves him to bits too. So it has worked out great for us! We are sooo happy with him, my hubby used to love cats but now he says that there is no animal more innocent and cuter than a bunny 🐰
Hi Lorolai - I was one of those parents.. Got my daughter a bunny on impulse with no education, and of course I followed the advice of the person I got the bunny from - indoor cage, occasional run on the garden, and they gave me a bag of pellets and seed!!!! (No hay). I had no idea! I took our rabbit for her first vet appointment with my beautiful daughter who was 9. The vet told us immediately ditch the seed and get lots of hay and some good quality pellets - that was my first lesson right there. Then our bunny started getting really aggressive, every time we tried to get her out for her outdoor run she would bite, thump, I didn’t know what to do. But my daughter is very innovative, did some you tube research, and guess who she found - YOU. Suddenly my 9 year old is telling me - Mum do this, mum do that, you are treating her wrong, I want to keep the bunny in my room and free roam mum, etc, etc.. A few weeks of changing EVERYTHING - and a few $$$$$$ later and we had a great free roam set up - You can thank my wonderful 9 year old for making things so right for our bunny. Now she (almost 12 now) and I watch your channel all the time for extra tips. I wanted to share this success story - they don’t all turn out bad.
I want to say thank you so much because you have helped me so so much in looking after my bunny Bella. I am sure that if she could talk that she would say a massive thank you!
I needed this video a year ago. On the 27th of March I was told I could get a bunny, but from November 2019 to March 2020 I asked for one!!!! Thank you for posting this to help people who have less willing parents! 🥰
My mom has never got me one after 6 YEARS of research but they are definitely gonna get me one sooner or later because they are allowing me to buy bunny stuff and after seeing how to litter train it from ur vids that made me have a chance!!! THANK YOU!
I love helping at the animal shelter near my house and the most adorable bunny was brought in and the poor thing was so skittish and scared it broke my heart I really wished I could take her home with me (but my parents didn’t think it would be a good idea because our dog is very loud and barky) so I would just love up and take car of her while she was there and after awhile she started to like me and was so sweet but I think like 5 months later she was adopted by a really sweat lady ☺️
I just wanted to say thank you, my bunny was abused and two skinny and was dying when we got her, your videos helped, she will try to eat things she not suppose to sometimes but now she's happy and a great size, I've had her for 2 years, we've connected, thank you!

Lennon you inspire me so much I have two bunnys and they like seeing your UA-cam videos and seeing Lennon I really want to meet you one day and I love you and Lennon have a nice day💗💗💗
Love the video! It reminded me of when I was little and begged my parents for two rabbits. Back then they told me no, but now thinking about it, I wouldn’t have been able to give them proper care during the time.
I did exactly this but for my two parrots! Yellow sided conure and crimson bellied conure. I did everything but foster. I wrote a 5 page essay about proper care, diet, health and more. I adopted my birds from a wonderful rescue 7 months ago and I trained up my birds who came from a bad home. Great advice! It definitely worked for me!
I rescued my bunny Back in the summer and I’m so happy I did! I did all the research and watched all of your videos 😄 she has brought lots of happiness into my life! Thank you for the videos so I know what I’m doing 😅
I’ve really wanted a bunny, but I am 15 and planning on going to college. I have a younger sister who said she would take care of my bunny while I’m at college. I don’t know what my parents are gonna say yet, but they will take a lot of convincing to be honest no matter what I don’t think it would work, I am the favorite child so they’re more likely to say yes to me as I asked them for two dogs and I got both of them but they’re number one. It’s gonna be that because we have dogs. We can’t get rabbits..
This video helped me alot. I've done tons and tons of research, what the bunnies eat, a good liter box for them, etc. I've tried to clean up the house, help my parents , and even try and make money from my small business. I was about to give up because I wasn't motivated anymore, but when I saw all of your helpful bunny videos, I kept going trying to get a bunny. It's really hard for me to find a pet because my dad is allergic to cats, dogs are too big, or it's just because I'm not responsible enough. So thank you, and maybe someday I could come back to you with a bunny in my arms.
You could talk about how bunnies are social creatures and do thrive best with a partner. They still love us (if we care for and bond with them), but they would definitely prefer to have another being around as well that “speaks fluent bunny” per se, and show some research/literature to back it up. There’s plenty out there if you Google it, look for animal welfare sites and veterinary journal articles as they are usually reputable (don’t use the vet journal articles if they’re super technical, but if you can understand them then definitely use them, that would be super impressive and show good research skills). :)
@@Maciwaci08 that’s okay!! Definitely make sure you back it up with sources though! They’re far more likely to believe it coming from a published vet or animal welfare organisation than from some random person on the internet hahaha
Also, if you want some help finding stuff, let me know and I’ll comment with some tips on where to find good sources and how to figure out how something is a good source or not (I’m doing Biomedical science, and trying to get into vet school next year so know how to find articles and work out if a website is reputable or not). It’s a skill you’ll use in high school/college a lot so worth practicing in this instance :)
My bunny died 3 weeks and 5 days ago. He was the light and shine of my house. All of us loves him. I hope my family and I have him the best life. Rest in peace Pepper
Before getting my Bunny I think the other night and... said to myself. I will be responsible.. So I clean the shelves, clean the house, help my mom of what she asked me. and after a lot of weeks, I told them if I could have a Bunny. And this is pretty funny cause the channel that I watched to gide me was Lennon The Bunny! Surprinsingly, my parents acepted, and we came to a place where they got Bunnys, I mean, the places where they rescue Bunnies. But with all the bunnies, I fell in love with my sweet baby that I have in my arms in this moment. Sadly, she was only 1 month old. and I said to myself, I'm gonna let my future bunny, drink milk from her mama, and let her be. The person that taked care of her told me that when she had 2 months, she would stop drinking milk. so I waited her til she was big enough. one night, the person called us, telling us that she was ready. At 11:00pm we were on the couch, with my little rabbit. She was the most little thing ever! It have past like, 8 months since we have her and she loves us, and we love her. I love your videos Lennon! thank you for teaching me how to make my bunny use a litter box. thanks for everything! Love. Dakachan
It took my parents not a lot of convincing SOMEHOW but I had to do sooo much research and this channel helped me so much! I’m Soo happy and I know that my bunny is happy because she’s always flopping and playful around me and in her area!! Thank you!
@@brandilee9834 maybe, but now that I think about it, it would be a bit hard for me because my parents are divorced so I go to my moms house every other Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and I doubt my family would want to go upstairs to check on and feed my rabbit while I’m gone 😅
Thank you this helped me a lot. Now my family and me are fostering rabbits. It’s very fun, and your Channel has helped us a lot! Thank you so much for all of your hard work.
After begging for a year and doing tons of research by watching your vids I finally Rescued a bunny and right now he’s right next to me and he free roams in my room :)

But I asked why I couldn’t get a bunny and they said I don’t know how to care for a bunny I proved them wrong and showed them this channel and what I’ve learned. I’m currently in the process of adopting and preparing for my future friend ♥️ Thanks Lorelei and Lennon!
I’ve always wanted a pet and I’ve been bugging my parents to get one for me. But they finally gave in and I’m getting a bunny in a few weeks! I just need to convince them to free roam the bunny. Wish me luck!🤞😁
I just wanted to tell you how much your videos helped me with my bunny. I got my first rabbit when I was six years old and my family had a lot of wrong ideas of how to take care of a bunny. My first bunny Dash lived outside for three years before we moved him inside but thanks to you and other bunny youtubers I learned that rabbits don't belong outside or in cages. He free roamed for the last four years of his life before he died of a heart problem( caused by bad breeding). I now have a new bunny Hart and he is a completely spoiled little guy completely free roamed during the day and then at night his room is gated of so he doesn't get into any mischief. I would let him free roam at night , but my mom won't let. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos to educate people like me.
My bunny is living comfortably in my room but I basically skipped all the steps Lorelei said cuz I just wanted to rescue my bunny off the street. At least I did research afterwards.
@@DanielaGonzalez-bk6wh lol feel that. my sister coworker was giving away her bunny so i took it without knowing anything. then i stumbled upon this channel and realized everything was wrong lol

I’ve been doing so much research , my dad doesn’t want to let me get a bunny. And if I do my dad wants to keep it outside in a hutch I want to free roam it inside my room
At the end of the day it ur parents that decide.
@@yoboijason586 it’s wrong tho

I'm sorry but please don't get a pet if you know you can't provide it with everything it needs xx Good Luck!!!!
I was so scared that the candle at the back is going to let those flowers catch a light🙈
Haha lol 😂
OMG that’s exactly what I’ve been worrying about!
I was asking the same thing! Why would you keep a candle right below flowers 😂
Omg same
Lol
I got my bunnies a year ago! And I’m so happy I was educated and now I have two free roamed, litter trained, 1 year old buns! named Fiver and Hazel from water ship down i can’t thank you enough Lorelei! ❤️
Very convincing!
It’s really rewarding to just wait until we’re older and can support our pet financially ourselves. There’s really no need to rush. ☺️
In two years I’ll be able to have my own apartment and support my own bunny. I’m really excited because I know that I’ll be able to do what’s best for my bunny then eeeee
I love your channel!
Hi!! I love Ellie she is super cute ☺️
Took me 2 years for my daughter to convince me. Now I'm obsessed with our bundle of joy 🐇. I made the best decision to wait and get her 💕 a wonderful companion during the epidemic.
Can you make a video showing the steps to getting a bunny, such as:
1: Buy your Materials
2: Set up the enclosure and/or bunny proof
3: Make sure you are ready
4: Adopt/Foster the rabbit.
took months of work, research and convincing but finally i am here getting 2 rabbits in a few weeks very excited!
I have a bunny and I barely convinced them to let us buy things for Munchkin (my bunny) to travel with us! This helped to convince them more. Thank you!

Finally the video we have all been waiting for months
Love your content
You are setting a really good example that you need to make sure that your educated on proper bunny care and you have space and you know what is going to happen in the future! Love you Lorelei! ❤️🐰
I am picking up a bonded pair tomorrow that I have already paid for/adopted from my local rabbit rescue! Thanks to you and your channel (Which I AM SOOOO grateful for you & Lennon) My sweet little pair has the most amazing free roam set up in my room! Thank you so much Lorelei ❤️
It took me a long time to get a bunny but a year later I got an adorable little bunny
@@sirisso3974 That's awesome! Congratulations and good luck with finding him a home!
I had two bunnies my parents gave them to an adoption centre because I took alot of care of them , they thought that I'm getting distracted from my studies so they gave them back and I'm so broke i loved them alot🥺
@Siyona Serinken 😊
Gee, I wonder why their dog is mean and bites them?
lorelei and lennon, you guys were and still are my go-to with taking care of my rabbit Dovey, I have been watching you guys' videos even before I decided to adopt my baby. It took my mom a lot of time to fully convinced her but it was worth at the end, she now loves him and allows my brother to give him the treats :D!. love you guys so much! thank you for honestly, everything!

My bunny recently passed away, you’re one of the reasons why I got her and I would like to thank you for bringing her in my life and helping me take good care of her. GI stasis took her life, we tried her best to help her but it didn’t work...I do miss her a lot but thank you!
We adopted my bunny from a teenager who didn’t want her bunny anymore, I will never do that to my bunny, who else would he give kisses to 😂
I have watched your channel for a couple years and I always wanted a rabbit. When we finally got a rabbit I was able to convince them to let our bunny free roam and I swear I do not regret getting a bunny.
OMG YAAAY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS VID EVEN THO I JUST GOT 2 BUNNIES LAST SATURDAY
I got a rabbit as a pet for no reason as my other siblings got animals and knew nothing about them then it flipped around once I found this amazing UA-cam account!
After doing months of research it took me a lot of begging for my parents to get me a bunny. But now they love her just at much as I do!

This is really helpful, although I already have a bunny it is so helpful for people who want to convince their parents to get one! 😄
Im showing this to my parents to get ANOTHER bun for mine to have a friend lol
same!
@@aliceb17 thank you im trying to get my parents to let me get my second bun so thanks for giving a few points i can tell them!

Maybe show them her videos and see if they'll entertain the idea over a few weeks or months.
@@brandilee9834 maybe, but now that I think about it, it would be a bit hard for me because my parents are divorced so I go to my moms house every other Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and I doubt my family would want to go upstairs to check on and feed my rabbit while I’m gone 😅
