I towed our 3T van over there with a stock Disco 4 in the dry. Mounted mattrax on it in the car park, and even slowed to a stop in the inskip bottle next just to prove my point. Probably could have towed the 23 footer up to north end, but we were with friends with a heavy camper. Tank tracks=unstoppable!

Sure was! We have said all along with our travels that there will always be mishaps but the way a company deals with it will make all the difference! We will certainly be sticking with TJM for our upgrades👌🏽
I run TJM suspension as well, really happy with my setup and towing. Even happier to know they back their warranty for those events it’s goes to poo. How did the camper tow?

Just stumbled across your channel. Had to subscribe after watching a few videos. You’re making the caravan on Fraser look too easy. Something we’ve been wanting to do for some time now but only ever seem to see camper trailers get taken over.
Living the dream right there. We are also gearing up for the lap. Awesome set up you guys got. We taking off with 2 ruggies as well. I'm curious about the I kamper, we like how big it is. But am worried about it being midgee proof as mesh is quite coarse. Thanks

Rain is often very good at making the sand hard so that’s a plus and you didn’t make it in l got bogged at inskip point 😂 shame about the strut love to know what caused the failure but guess my guess is as good as yours. Glad it worked out for you in the end 👌

Yeah was quite an easy fix. Didn't take long to swap it out. Couldn't fault TJM's customer service though 🙌🏼 they went above and beyond and had us back on the road quick sticks 👌🏽👌🏽
One day we Should well that’s good they got you sorted can be hard to get good help like that sometimes. Well you had a crack that’s half the fun, often find myself in situations with my van that l think why did you do that haha I’m a sucker for a challenge most of the time it works out don’t ask the wife about the other times tho. I always say remind me if you think I’m going to do something I’ll regret and I’ll try and think twice before doing it 😂 had the best time in tassie. Watching your clips before we left home was great helps with the trip planning and track conditions! Full video goes up in the next day or two. Sooo much time in editing from these trips. Cheers

100% they would have 👌🏽 we don't ring places up and say hey we are 'one day we should' and we have a big following hahah. We called up as any normal person would and they were absolutely fantastic to deal with.
That is remarkable customer service to deliver the part on Fraser. Do you think they would do that every customers or they treated you a bit specially as you have a UA-cam channel?
No special treatment here mate. We don't announce that we have a social media following when talking to companies haha. So they had no idea who we were when they were organising coming to the rescue. This is what they would have done for anyone which is quite amazing. We were really impressed with how they dealt with it and how fast they acted!

Hey guys. There are a bunch sites suitable for caravans on fraser - gabala had van sites (that was the one in this video) Eli creek was great for vans. Maheno is good for vans and there are a bunch further north suitable for vans. We recommend Eli or Maheno as they are a great base nice and close to Eli creek for swims and hanging out but also not too far from the lakes etc
I’m glad she made that comment about camper trailers. They are such a P.I.T.A to setup & packup. We’ve camped with people who’ve owned them and 2hrs to set it up & pack it up is not part of the experience in my book. And the eventually they develop leaks. What’s not to like. Tents are 200% more superior over a camper trailer.
We took the van as far as Maheno wreck campsites. Could have taken it further no dramas but we day tripped without the caravan to save on fuel as it was about $2.35/L over there 😬.
