His analysis is strong on pretty much everything aside from telegram arrest and X in Brazil where the idea that these things are about free speech is wrong. Apart from that... I think his framework of risk appetite has good explanatory power.

That's not to take anything away from the journalist, he's one of the best. I don't agree that the US has it right with their take in free speech, I don't think we need any lessons in civics from them, right now. Nate Silver also has a podcast with Maria Konnikiva, another high-stakea poker player, that's very interesting. This was a great interview, Channel Four really is world leading for their journalism
