1.song is Charles Bronson playing man with harmonica, 2.song is for Jason Roberts character, 3.song is for Claudia Cardinale. Only movie made to fit the music not the other way around.
Sergio Leone made the two greatest epic movies about the two big moment in US history - the one about the the rise of the Mafia and the one about conquering the west. The first one is called Once Upon A Time In America, and the last one is called Once Upon A Time In The West. You simply MUST watch both in order to fully understand cinema! ;-)
WOW! You missed out on so much, not having seen the film for a reference. The movie is a classic with Charles Bronsonin the lead and a host of knownactirs. Go see the film and then comeback to this. The director Sergio Leone was Italian but the films were all filmed in Spain
Enjoyed you reaction; PLEASE watch the movie if you haven't already -- the harmonica references will make perfect sense when you do! P.S. -- That an English horn, not an oboe @9:07.
I don't know if you know, but the conductor, Sarah Hicks is actually an USAnian. Living in California. A funny one, title says it all: Tom and Jerry at MGM // Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir & DR Big Band (Live) Enjoy.
mr. Smitty, The first words you should start with in this case are neither "film" nor "orchestra"... The first words, if you have at least a little common culture, should be: - music composed by the great Ennio Morricone, only then it is normal to continue with the presentation of everything else. You admire his music for the second time, and you don't even know who its composer is. I'd be embarrassed if I were you. I apologize for my harsh reaction, but it's the truth. Whether you accept it, is absolutely your choice.
@@DimitarH I appreciate your comment, but I will never apologize for having gaps in knowledge or trying to appreciate something for the first time with 0 references to content or context. I also feel no embarrassment since in my upbringing I’ve always been told that the only stupid question is the one not asked. But maybe that’s just me. That said I’m still glad that I encountered and experienced this musical piece and wether Ennio is “great” as with anything is objective as I’m sure I could search and find detractors of his if I was so inclined (which I am not 😆) Also at the time I was reacting and listening to so much music I’m sure I forget where my chair was 🤦🏽♂️ But again thanks for the comment and feedback. That reminds me that it’s probably time to listen to more music and get some more videos back on my channel again. It’s been way too long

9:07 That’s the oboe that did the incredible solo during The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!
When you actually see the movie seen it’s so intense
MORRICONE N1 FOREVER
Was there at the galaxy symphony concert. Amazing performance and out of this world concert hall. The mandolorian and gravity was my favorites
A great posting. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
The hanging man is also in "the good, the bad and the ugly" as it is from the same concert
Great performance. Anyone ever notice Tuva's earrings? Oh, and there it came... well done, all around Smitty.
Try to find the duel on that movie. (Once upon a time in thé West) That is really the définitive One on any western movie that you can never see
Ennio was a master of music. 🥃
They also did the 007 theme. Super entertaining.

Obviously the guy not curious enough to even Google the title...
I do hope you will do the good, the bad, and the ugly by the dno.
If I meet Tuva, I will let her know where she can go for free drinks ;)
