The Xenoblade music in this run is really fitting, because in Xenoblade 3 theres an enemy that looks like a baby Gaismagorm and also one of Noahs technics (Tachyon Slash) looks like Iai Spirit Slash.

probably the coolest LS run i've seen in rise so far over the course of 3 years. so clean and so elegant
Yeah I restarted MH Rise on ps5, and I used to use all the elemental weapons and optimal builds on switch. But in this playthrough, I'm MR70 and have beaten all the added monsters other than risen elders... I haven't even felt the need to swap off the gaismagorm longsword. I can still get attack boost 7 with hitting max affinity through various skills and fighter Palico's rousing roar. Even have max wirebug whisperer, and room for evade extender and burst and bloodlust.
I'm probably gonna build a bunch of status and elemental weapons but they really don't feel necessary.
Monsters in this game are such drama queens. "He broke my nail! I must pretend to be unconscious for 10 seconds!"

I feel like they just made LS a thin-bladed version of GS now... ShoulderRush/3xCounter into a long-charging multi-hit for quad-digit damage.
Thing is, the timing required takes way more to learn than Triple back-swing in to true charged slash, I would love to take time to learn LS but it just seems like pain atm

I just felt bad the roundslash at 3:11 didn't hit causing gais not die much sooner. The time could have been shorter, and ending the monster in a grander way. Yet, the damages are so sick. There is no way my skill will be like this. Hahaha. Nc. video. You deserve my sub.

This whole speed run I was just flabberghasted by his damage since I use gs and my true charged slash at best is 1700 😭
Would it be a big damage increase if you get the birb before going in? Or is it not worth it because activating heroics fast does more damage?
if the heroics is active you can get 30% damage, if I take the rainbow bird at the beginning it's a little difficult to get heroics using bombs, so I don't take the rainbow bird at the beginning.

@@fearnovirgin994 no thats frostcraft. Its from velkanha Set. When your Welpen is sheathed, the Bar fills up. There are 4 stages, and the higher the stage, the more %damage you Deal. Its very strong on ls and gs especially

It's something lif silkbind sakura flash or something similar. It is one of the top face button siljbind moves you get early on.

what is the trick with barrel bombs to get your spirit gauge up so fast?
Ive been using the sakura silkbind to get charges but you get them like 100x faster.
I think it's tempered spirit blade
and throwing a small bomb up at your self while running forward. draw atack with spirit blade cause its faster that the other 2 slashes and wont hit it to high/too early i believe.

Why does he keep bombing himself?
When the longsword counters something, or uses certain moves, the sword meter changes from white, yellow, and then red
The closer to red it is, the bigger the damage boost
Afterwards he spends all of the meter on a big move for max damage and then uses bombs to charge it back to red quickly

Haven't fought Gaismagorm yet but it seems... easy? Idk just the fact that it's attacks are so long-range that most of the time they go over your Hunter and the fact that he doesn't seem to attack much.
Maybe because it's not getting a chance to move or attack without getting flinched because someone who knows this fight inside out is exploiting it's every weakness?
@@Viovel I honestly don't know if you're mad or not but still his attack seem to go right over your Hunter's head.
Nah not mad, but I do believe that every player should experience a monster first before judging the difficulty of a monster. That's all.
@@Viovel knowing my reflexes though in reality this will be a real final boss fight.
@@Viovel his movement is a bit slow n the animation for some of his attack is too long...thats why its easier n faster to use range weapon against it...just chain flinch it before it even attack
