Thanks for the chat :D Makes me anticipate even more everything I have not yet gotten to ^^ Also just received Frogdog earlier today ^^ Still need to do some painting for Gambler's and likely might get Killenium Butcher :P Black Friday is not off too long :D
Did you ever play any community content (Content Creation Group CCG)? They have some neat smaller and larger additions including the Scalding Seas campaign. Which may feel a bit old school after the Gambler's Chest ^^
@@elikurtz729 I have not! Everything KDM is owned by my friend so I’d have to let him know about the community stuff! He wants to get a 3D printer cause he’s aware of some fan made monsters but I haven’t touched anything KDM in many, many years
@@BoardGamesUnLockedSome of the CCG stud is really great. But I think the content with actual campaigns and monsters are a little bit too much. But the Tracks Of Death card pack is so great. A lot of the card stuff they’ve done is a great addition.
Great discussion guys. But to say that everything outside the Gamblers Chest is atrocious is a bit unnecessary imo. The Butcher fight is so well done and really scary the first time you fight him. It’s still one of the best nemesis fights in the entire game. Don’t get me wrong I dislike The Hand and The Phoenix is very unbalanced.
@@CicconeRitchie1 I mean, it’s clearly hyperbole but you kind of proved our point; you said the butcher was good but the other two enemies we brought up were trash. Lol The point of that statement was to say that the changes they made to KDM via the Gambler’s Chest is better and when Campaigns of Death releases, it’s gonna be even better
@@BoardGamesUnLocked Depends. If you like added complexity then yes Gamblers Chest is for you. It does make the game easier but the complexity is way higher. So is the bookkeeping as you guys touched upon. No you said the Phoenix and The Hand is trash not me😅It’s not trash imo but both of them could be better. The premise of The Hand is awesome but it’s kind of a one trick pony. The Phoenix is a little bit too punishing at random but the fight overall is cool and thematic.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the game but shitting all over the core game is kind of weird because the core game is the foundation of the game and the randomness is still very prevalent.
@@CicconeRitchie1 Ah, well you did say you dislike The Hand and The Phoenix so it’s the same to me. Lol Also, I am notorious for heavily disliking KDM so it’s a huge improvement for me with this. Lol
@@BoardGamesUnLocked Big difference between utter trash and some balancing issues my friend😅
Last time I watched your channel you were shitting all over your experience with Kingdom Death: Monster. You were hyped along the journey then at the end you said it was crap. What changed?
They prob discuss that somewhere in the video
@@Ranch8275 Yeah to be honest I didn't watch this video I was turned off by his dismissal of KD:M at the end of his original journey. I will now watch the video and listen. Thanks for commenting!

Just admit you've been wrong for years, Seth. KD:M had always ruled. :P
@@DocHogan Lol. Never!!!
But it’s clearly way better now with the revisioned stuff!
