Super helpful review! Especially that they are bright rather than earthy. What was the spiral bound paper you used? I've read you need smooth paper to preserve the brush nibs, and prevent fraying.
Thank you! I'm glad you found it useful ☺❤ This paper is Windsor and Newton 150g/70lb cartridge drawing paper, it has medium grain but tbh you probably want something even smoother. A lot of people recommend Rhodia notepads for brush pens and hand lettering.
Thanks, I totally forgot I have a plain Rhodia pad AND a Canson XL marker pad! From what I remember they were nice for writing but didn't appreciate water being added to doodles or other drawings. I think watercolour paper will be too rough but I did find a Daler Rowney smooth cartridge pad. Good excuse for a trip to the art store to have a look :)
@@garfield1935 Ah yes, the Rhodia stuff is a bit thin for adding water I believe, but you can get some smoother watercolour papers that might be suitable. Happy hunting ☺
I have the maui set and I was impressed. I have found over time that the nibs get damaged quite quickly after a lot of use. Please let me know if you find the same problem. Thanks for this video😊
It has a few brown and tan tones that you could potentially use but nothing on the lighter spectrum. Ohuhu do have a set called skin tone colours: eu.ohuhu.com/collections/water-based-markers/products/ohuhu-maui-36-skin-colors-dual-tips-water-based-art-markers-brush-fineliner

I'm not surprised, they do seem like they would be prone to damage, I'll see how hold up and let you know 😊❤
Does this include skin colour

Que lindas! Pena que no Brasil é tão caro essas canetas.
Oh no, that is a shame! I hope you can find some more affordable pens in your part of the world soon! 🤞❤
