So awesome! I was reviewing rare songs on dmbalmanac the week before thinking to myself, it would be INCREDIBLE to get #34 at the gorge, but like you figured it would never happen. What a surprise!!!
So really cool moment in Phoenix.. My Dad and I were talking about some songs he would love to hear. His favorite all time is Drive in Drive out. He mentioned it and I said the same thing like you did about #34 “we probably won’t get it.. would be cool though” sure enough they played it. It was a really special moment for me and my pops. This band knows how to suprise you every time.
. I have always been a DMB fan. I have been going to the gorge for three nights of bliss since I was 24. I'm 41 now. I was in a bad spot doing time in Washington prison system doing 12 mo. The noise was so loud I couldn't concentrate on reading books I would read to escape the time. I purchased this song and listened to it over and over and over and over to block out noise while I would read. I was also there this night when dmb played the song #34. I was blown away. And really made a great night even better. I was speechless with so many emotions. Thx Dave Matthews band.

I don't drink anymore and actually learned my lesson. He and I are still friends till this day. For years I had never had a problem. That night I don't even remember getting in the car. Scared me straight along with the time I had to do. I only smoke weed now. Alcohol is not for me.
I am an alcoholic. Crashed my car during covid. Didn't get caught but I knew that at 46 the party was over. I checked myself into treatment. Best decision I have ever made. I was at the Gorge for this most special evening too. All the way from NH, after wishing it to be for 20 years. I'm glad we shared this together, although apart. Faith without works is dead. ❤

This was my first time at the Gorge, what a magical weekend. The drones were just beautiful! I know I cried when I saw Groogurx King in the air....I'm getting chills thinking about it!
I wish I could have seen this in person. #34 and So Right are (in my opinion) such underrated but great songs. The dynamic these drones added was incredible. And seeing how Dave can, after all these years touring, still lose himself in a moment with the music as he did between 8:50 and 9:30 is such an incredible thing to see. I really feel like I missed out on something special here.

Truly amazing. Idk what it is about every recording of this song but the horns sound like they're playing from a side stage. I dunno if it's post or mixing during the show. But I'm not alone right?
