@@liveanadventure429 Yea was a crime, but on the flip side the album it came off of: Junk Culture was a hit in the UK 🙂 Where in UK you from, I'm in Kent!
This is Top Tier OMD but I kinda knew Dereck wouldn't love it. Just based on how tepid he was on Tesla Girls, I wouldn't expect him to love what I would call a "Deep Cut" down the OMD rabbit hole What's funny is he described it perfectly, really, it's just not something he loves. The song is charming, cute, adorable, sweet and yes, mellow as well, as he described it, a perfect bit of whimsy, but yeah, not really an expected single (even though it was) and certainly not an 'American' single. At least Dereck loved 'Messages', if he didn't like that, then I would have to question his love of '80s synth pop. And he also loved Forever Live and Die and Enola Gay. I'm sure he would love the other American single Top 20 hits by them but I rather doubt he would love some of 'deeper' cuts I am seeing suggested here that are masterful such as Maid of Orleans but hey you never know.
Soft and cool, mellow like many OMD tracks. A classic on concert. The lyrics are interesting, the music less. But it's an OMD classic. Listen it on a good mood but just one time :)
I loved this song! It was quite a hit in the U.K.
It was indeed a hit, getting in the top 20 at number 11!

One of the blond girls in the pic-nik scene is Bunty Bailey ,the girl that was also starring in A-ha's iconic '80s classic video 'Take On Me'.
If you want to approve OMD and loose your whole banana bundle, you have to react on "Maid of Orleans"!
A masterpiece imho 🥰
He has already done that one, a very long time ago!
@@mikekaraoke I assume it was taken down. There is no history of it.
I’d react to Dreaming. You want more uptempo. Go for that. Hope someone can request it on Patreon.
Maid of orleans or souvenir please please please, these are the best of OMD.
Love your new different haircut
Try another song from their first album. Electricity or Bunker Soldiers.
Listen Speed of light (OMD), it's a well-known but fantastic music of OMD !
Dear Dereck, kindly please react to silent circle - touch in the night. 80s supper hit.

Wow, I like your haircut ❤️
Do you know that love is in the hair!
Have you done "Locomotion"?
In my opinion, the German band Kraftwerk inspired all these early 80's bands of this genre - especially this track is reminiscent of Kraftwerk.
Try Sailing on the Seven Seas, or Maid of Orleans
Can you react to Gaho -start over pls
I've always enjoyed this one, Not really a dance track,. I think its good roll in the hay music as the lyrics suggest.

Battle in me by Garbage
Please
Far from their best. Thankfully they don't play it too often live anymore. Maid of Orleans is a must to do.
