They gotta trade Boggs but yea ofc that's the best lineup. Imo Monty was using stupid lineups, knowing they would lose. I think they keep playing hard cuz they secured the best chances at the number 1 pick now and prob will use better lineups

@davyunwashington3613 Ivey and Ausuar Thompson are keepers. Ausuar or whatever his name is is special. He's good enough to play without shooting but he can easily raise his shooting % to the mid 30%s and be one of the best in the league. Your out of ur mind lol and why would they trade Ivey before he reaches his peak and he's on the same timelime
This what happens when u don’t draft with the purpose of getting pieces that fit together. Ivey+Cade+Hayes is redundant, and they only have one guy who is a consistent catch and shoot guy from 3 in volume. Ausar is their only great defender and he’s basically a negative offensively.

Portland drafted Sam Bowie over some guy named Jordan.
Detroit drafted darko over melo
Golden State drafted Wiseman over lamelo

If the Pistons drafted Carmelo instead of Darko, they probably would've been an NBA dynasty. Melo does most of the scoring, Billups the playmaking, the Wallaces and Tayshaun Prince the defense. Along with a deep bench. It's that simple

Honestly, the Pistons will likely just go on an even worse losing streak this season. I think there will be a stretch where they win 2-3 more games and then go on a historically awful stretch of sports performance.
Cades needs help in his last 7 games he’s avg: 31.7/7.9/4.7 1.6 steals on 55.5/46.9/86 shooting and in the last 6 games he’s doing better with a POSITIVE PLUS MINUS. Meaning when he’s in the bench for those 11 minutes the team give up leads or let the other team blow them out.
I got him winning MIP at the beginning of the season. There's no doubt people would be talking more about him if he had a decent squad around him

I am a believer in Cade Cunningham. I think he has a high ceiling. It's really hard for a player to suceed in a team that is not built to maximize its strength. Troy Weaver has done a terrible job of rebuilding this team, its obvious there was not a clear identity or direction.

That's actually cap. Cade's scoring 30 a night over constant double-teams, despite the fact that he's only 22. Even if his output decreases on a better team, he's only going to improve from here. Hell, the losing streak might have even made him better, given how much practice he's had against high-pressure defenses.
