- Sig P365 Macro breakdown! Tactical Development Brad came to the shop and I ask him his thoughts on the new 365 X-Macro. I have my own thoughts about it and we end up having a good discussion about its features.

My opinion, and take it for what you will folks. I’m getting the x macro and not just a regular xl is the simple fact that California doesn’t “allow” threaded barrels unless you’re gonna register them as an “Assault Weapon” so, one way to go around that is the already have a comp installed. Therefore the barrel of the handgun isn’t threaded. PLUS, the wife said I can get one since we’re moving back to California lol. You may say why are you moving back? And how can you get one when it’s not on the “safe handgun list?” Well, that’s a whole different story. But I can tell you that I am in the military and am going to take advantage of that fact.
Can y'all talk more about the flux brace? Im talking accessory combination options, like the stinger trigger guard holster, modifications (I know it would void warranty), and other modifications.
I have the flux brace and of all the internet y'all make the most content on the subject of flux in general. If you could fill that void in the market of information before someone else does that would be amazing. Of all people it should be y'all covering the Flux Brace.
Not a bad idea at all. I can make a video on it soon. I built, QC’d, and shipped out almost all Glock Flux Braces in existence so I could have some good insight.
A Raider Lite sounds cool, but i am much more interested in hearing about a Raider Heavy... Any news on that?
The Xmacro I purchased as a backcountry predator defense gun. I used to carry a 1911 and the weight was too much. The Xmacro is close to full sized without all the weight. I mount it on a chest rig just below my binos.

I ended up waiting and purchased the X Macro Tacops. I’m not into Comps at all on handguns much rather have the longer barrel and sights. I have smaller hands and the Tacops fits perfectly. Straight out the box I’m at 600 rounds no failures and mine doesn’t rust like the two guys on UA-cam lol. Tactical Development parts are top notch very innovative just wish shipping was a little cheaper. I wanted to try a mag baseplate but once shipping added over 10 dollars I had to wait. Thanks
X Macro is like Sig version of Glock 19X
I will likely purchase the MACRO
365 because It comes with 17rd mags, longer grips, and comp in a reasonable size package.
Plus, I can purchase a Wilson Combat XL grip and 12 or 15rd magazines, if I want to shrink the grip. This gun provides options.
I was on the fence because it is priced about $200-$300 > 365XL (minus comp which is $499 with no barrel or recoil spring. Also, the MACRO is also < in price vs 365XL Spec.
I was going to play it safe and add a Shield Plus, but I am going to spend the additional funds and purchase the 365 MACRO.
I keep hearing better and better things from Macro users so I don’t think that is a bad call.
I run a 320 carry/m18 the Wilson combat grip module made a substantial difference for me
I have like four of those Wilson Combat grips. They are nice!
Tactical Development makes great stuff!! I have everything they make for my 365’s . Great video.
My daily is a M18 right now but definitely looking at a 365 macro in the future.
I know the p320 has the contract but I feel like the the height of the bore of the 320 is too high and the p365 should be duty size too.
Yeah they are doing some crazy stuff with their magazine capacity. Maybe they will eventually make a full size 365 while keeping the thinner size.
I recommend the P365XL with the Wilson Combat grip module and MagGuts magazine. 14+1.
I have like 4 WC grips for the P320. I’m certain the 365 one would be great.
Really excited for the Macro and all it prings to the table . In addition to the XM, I also own a couple of upgraded XLs and some related bits and pieces. I see this as meaning more business and new product opportunities for you guys. That said, lets dig in... It's time that the 365 is viewed as a platform... the ultimate morph gun. I'm dying to see this thing in a WC/FDE version. Please continue to offer the WC Pro ledge in the two colors Wilson Combat does them in. FWIW their FDE is way better than Sig's bastardized desert tan they call FDE. No offence sig. If Wilson Combat does a WC version of the XM grip module and I REALLY want that to happem, please do a WC Pro-ledge for it. I'd also like to see a Magguts version for the 15 round mag to bump it to 17 rounds and a Pro-ledge to smooth it up to look good when used with a 12 round XL or WCXL grip module for those who want to keep the XL but flex to a 17 round with good ergos when it suits them.
I would not be surprised to see Sig offer aftermarket slides in the RDS-forward config maybe in a choice of comp/no comp, finish choices like distressed, FDE-ish, ODgreen amd Custom Works custom finishes. Maybe offer a Spectre cut frame as well in F-RDS in comped amd uncomped as well. XL Long Slide? Bring it. Create an LS Comp slide intended to be used with the 4.25" threaded barrels curently out with the same style comp extending the slide to say 5 inches with a 3 port integrated slide comp. Love to see this party get started...
For real, there is so much they can do to fully embrace this line of pistol. The options are already massive but this is the first big bump in a while.
Completely agree on the 365 shooting better than the 320. I have a P365XL and P320 Max, I shoot faster splits with the XL with 15rnd mag than the Max. The 320 has a really high bore axis, and it has a really short grip for a full-size. This matters because my support hand pinky hangs off the bottom of the grip on the Max, where my support hand pinky is firmly on the mag extension on the XL. My grip uses a lot of pressure with the support hand pinky to counteract recoil. I’d definitely be in on a Macro XL, as I prefer a longer slide for appendix carry. Stabilizes the gun better while carrying.

And I don't know but maybe if you want to keep it with the pirate theme like the raider maybe privateer will be a good name for 365 raider

You should make a flat base for the mag. Maybe loose a round but I think it’s going to be a hit.

I have an XL and an X. my primary carry is my X. I found a Macro grip and mags for sale and bought them and made my XL a Macro. the XL and X were just too close to being the same gun. now that my XL is a Macro they're completely different in size and capacity. completely happy with both guns, but now I need to figure out what Surefire lights work with the Macro grip.
We have been messing with the Macro in the shop more and it is awesome. Cool you could find the frame and mags.
@@overtimealex69 I haven't even had time to shoot mine yet and I know I'll like it. 😂 Yeah, I was able to source the grip and mags the week after the Macro came out. Got kinda lucky. Patiently waiting for some of the things the guy next to you is working on for it as well.
The only question i have is if tactical development would be making a base pad for the 15 rounders to fit in a macro frame for those who are limited to 15 in our state. He was able to do it for the 10 rounders to fit the XL frame.

The Streamlight TLR Sub might still be the best one for little guns like the Macro.
No! it looks like hell with its size on the micro, Olight a better choice + 600 lumens and quick disconnect clamp!
Is Brad making the key to fit the wild1? I remember him saying it didn’t fit the macro with from factory like it does the tacdev rail.

You guys are wrong the p365x macros 17 round mag is flush fitting you have a 15 round mag with the +2 plate smh check the stats also I have the p365x macro comp and the mag is definitely flush fit. 17 rounds
What mag was that on the P365X Macro? Are there factory extended magazines too?

What holster are you using for your g34?
I have two I use. Tier 1 Concealed and Grey Matter Concepts. Both with an X300. As an OWB belt holster I use a QVO Tactical Secondary.

Couldn’t you use any p365 slide doesn’t have to be the xl
Yeah the regular P365 slide would work but it wouldn’t be long enough to sit flush with the end of the frame. You can use a compensator to lengthen it out but that might cost more than just getting the macro slide or an XL.
@@overtimealex69 see I don’t understand because I have the P365x and it’s on the XL frame and it’s flush I would think it would be flush on this frame too, but I’m not sure and if it is, it’s the same barrel length as the P365
The dust cover/picatinny rail part of the Macro frame is longer. It is flush with the XL slide in terms of length. The grip length is about the same.

Geesh…… you don’t need another frame to conceal the gun…… I’ve been concealing the Macro everyday since they came out….. in jeans and a t-shirt.
Just depends how fat the person is. I can conceal carry a G34 fine with a t shirt so anything smaller is good to go.

Beleive me we want to. It will be quite the jump though since we only make chassis systems. Making a Glock Raider would mean we would need to make actual firearms.

My buddy recently got a 365, compared to my 43x i like the capacity and how it felt in my hand. When the flux defense splinter comes out I’ll probably get a 365 😂😂
