Have not had the gun itself rust but have had a spot on my spare mag develop after months of warm-weather carry in a side pocket that looked like surface rust. It removed easily with lube and steel wool. My advice is wipe down carry weapons with some sort of lube. I use G96 gun treatment on a microfiber cloth about every week to two weeks. What attachment for your Streamlight TLR7 SUB mount (1913 attachment) did you use and mounting your Holosun EPS carry what did you use, any specific plate or does it come with it.....?
I dont know if somebody else mentioned this, but for your TLR7 sub, the correct key you need is number "4" to get the light in the correct position. Dont know if this guy got a bad batch, but #4 will work. No need to buy another component that you dont necessarily need.

@bfgprecision you mentioned in the video that the silver ring should line up with the end of the slide. Like I said...I don't know if you got a bad set of keys, streamlight revamped them, or none of the above, but key 4 puts my sub back as far as physically possible with the silver ring aligned with the end of the slide.

Tactical Development makes a mag base that is fully rounded…and also a mag extension for +2…I have both on my XMacro mags..+2 for carry and flats for the other 4
I installed the tactical development flat aluminum base plates on my magazines and they get rid of any pinch points. They also make the pistol look a lot better.

Unfortunately you can’t do that because the slide catch is only able to install on the left side of the FCU. The trigger and trigger bar are installed on the right. It’s the configuration of the FCU itself not the grip module. The cut out on the right side of the grip you may be referring to is the opening for the serial number. That’s the only opening on the grip in that area on the right side. I know many left hand shooters that use this platform and love it so maybe that’s not a deal breaker but you have to be ok with that. Hope this helps, thanks for watching!

I have a Macro myself and I am getting the Tac Ops variant here shortly and I love the Nightmare look you got going for your Macro. I may do something similar with the tac ops.
I’ve got roughly 1,300 rounds through my XMacro. Winchester 115 grain FMJ failed 3 times. One primer would not fire after a couple of attempts and 2 of them absolutely would not fully feed. Probably 400 rounds of Winchester and the rest was a few hundred rounds of random hollow points, sig ammo and a mix of federal and whatever was affordable in 115 FMJ range ammo No issues with anything else. I had minor corrosion issues but after oiling the slide a few times it’s perfect. Kinda like seasoning a skillet. Shouldn’t be necessary at the price point but not a big deal. I love mine and carry it every day 10-12 hours.
It seems like everyone that has rust issues it stems from the rear sight/ slot for it. I oil that area so no issues know. Had a couple other guns that tended to rust at certain points. Not great that we have to do this wondering if it’s a supplier issue?

@@superrad1659 I really like OLIGHT! I have had a few of them and never had any issues. They are very reasonably priced, easy to charge and reliable. I went with the TLR7 Sub on the X MACRO because of function and looks, it just looks like it was made for it. Other than that the OLIGHT would be fine. To be honest though I do not have any experience with it on the X MACRO.
I ordered a macro tacops. I hope it doesn’t have any rust issues. You should NOT have to wipe a pistol off everyday to keep it from rusting. I have several pistols and none have a bit of rust.
I haven t had any issues on any of mine.
If you live in humid environment during any time of the year at all, I recommend atleast sending your carry magazine bodies in for cerakote. They will rust slowly. I did 2 mag bodies and my slide . I've carried everyday for almost 10 years. I shoot on average about 10k rounds per year between handgun and carbine. Heed my warning. Xmacro is an amazing gun, but there can be surface rust issues
@@l337l0gan thanks for the heads up! Appreciate that advice and I know I’ll be watching for any type of corrosion and I’ll be making another video when I’ve had a chance to carry and shoot it for some time. Thanks for your comment and got watching!
I have the sig sauer tacops and it’s the same magwell
Thanks I figured it looks exactly the same. Appreciate you confirming! Thanks for watching!
I purchased the tacops a month ago and put the TRL7 on it. With it all the way back touching the trigger guard, the buttons on the rear of the light catch the tip of my finger and interferes with my getting to the trigger. So I used the adapter the moves the light forward eighth inch so that the buttons are just on the outside of the trigger guard. Just curious if anyone else experienced that?
What holster did you end up going with?
What size True precision barrel do you have ??
What trigger do you have on this? I may have missed it
Killer intro. Nice
What does bfg stand for?
There’s a couple meanings there but the most significant is BFG is my fathers initials who I was very close with and passed away a few years ago.
Is there a good holster for ccw which fits the sig 365x macro with the tlr7sub and the key from tactical development.
I carry appendix and my EDC setup is the XMACRO with the TLR Sub and Holosun EPS Carry and I use a T1C Axis Elite holster with an extended extra magazine sidecar. Hope this helps!
#1 Upgrade: Mischief Machine aluminum lower module
Can you please share a link to the stainless steal controls?
Here is the link, keep in mind that the magazine release is not for the XMACRO so you can't use it but everything else you can swap out. www.sigsauer.com/p365x-controls-parts-kit-nickel.html
Can you link the parts and where you got them
The internals I purchased right on the SIG website. Holosun EPS on Amazon and the magwell Tactical Development.
what about the plastic sttiker?
The TD magwell is back in stock if anyone is interested!
Ordered mine!
@@sixty4pilot mine is arriving Monday, I’ll be doing an install video then it’s going through it’s paces of 1,000 rounds!
Im converting my XL into a tacops. Just waiting on the new magazines to arrive and she will be completed!
Wherefore I get that barrel
I love my p365 x macro, but my Nightmare is just a totally different animal.
Are you looking at the legion now?
Haha, SIG always does this to us!
@@bfgprecision constantly… it’s tempting! Was just about to leave you a comment on your recteq grill reel. I have the 700 and am a tent camper.
@@oceres I’m not too crazy about the Bullseye! Had a hard time with temp. On the other hand at Home I have the BFG (no pun) 2500 and that thing is a beast, absolutely phenomenal no complaints at all!!
Does the barrel have the integrated comp?
The comp is integrated into the slide, so the barrel is slightly shorter than on the non-comp versions.
What holster are you using?
T1C Axis Elite
The Wilson Combat has released the Macro Grip Module. I have Two Macros and one 365 xL with Wilson combat.
I may be the only person on earth tht does not like the feel or function of the flat trigger.
Maybe, but if you like the curved one better then go for it!
You made a video without having the tactical development magwell.
Yes it wasn't installed yet.
Replacing all that stuff and it has 0 rounds through it… lost all credibility in my opinion. I understand you’ve had other 365’s. Never taking his word on anything.
Ps I clean my gun after every time I shoot, but never wipe it down after edc. Which I carry every single day
I disagree with a lot here. Why buy new barrel and slide controls when you can cerakote originals? Why not add gas pedal to your tlr7 and why not Mcarbo trigger that IMPROVES functionality and not just the look. No aftermarket backstrap?? Not even wilson combat grip? Idk man, this video missed a lot and spent money on unnecessary stuff
Thanks for the comment, I appreciate everyone’s opinion but it’s just that an opinion.
Will the xl threaded barrel fit in this
The X MACRO slide is the same as the XL. Dimensionally it should it would take away the comp functionality as the barrel would be too long for the integrated comp to function. If you want that look maybe go with the Tac Ops version. Thanks for the comment.
