  • This video is an example on how to go from 93 to E30mix, simple and easy to do. Just make sure you run your car on 93 for a few days to clean up all the left over fuel you were running. Then with 93 bring your car to almost empty and begin the process!

Unless you are purchasing ethanol free 93 premium, you already have 10% ethanol in the 93. So you need to add 20% E85.

Yeah and most of the gas stations have 10% so if you add it up. It would be like having e95 which would make it a perfect or slightly short for the mixture. So 3 gallons of e85 and 7 of 93 will make e30. Or e28ish 🙏🏽

When you first put the e-85 and you run it without for a while before putting the map it is required to have e-85 is it bad for the car to run off that fuel since it’s not on the Map that is needed to support e-85?

You can keep the gas in the car without a problem. It’ll just run out faster cause it burns quicker. But it’s required to have higher mixes for extra boost. I go out of town on e50 without a problem. I just have to fill up more often

it's a 15-gallon tank,, 30% of that is 4.5. I guess if your method works for you then cool. But for me, being in Cali, we don't have 93octane, the highest is 91. But I just run the tank to the range is below 20miles left,, then fill with 3.5-4 gallons of E85 then fill the tank with 91. JB4 runs fine cause it supports UP TO 30%. doesn't have to be exact. Just a suggestion so you not constantly putting 13gallons in a tank that holds 15 to make the numbers work.

Yeah brotha, this is just an example if someone wants to get a quick idea on how to kinda fill up the tank with E30. Unfortunately for me every gas station has 93 and literally just one gas station in the whole city has e85. So I make the trip worth it lol and yes you can run 91 without issues. I simply want the max output since I have 93 everywhere get me. I’ll be doing dyno numbers this weekend as well 🙏🏽

I got a question. I got a jb4 but to run e30 do I need anything to support it? Or can I just put it in without any troubke

@@eliwaksman7227 newer jb4 comes with fuel wires already. All you need is upgraded spark plugs, intake, and of course the pre installed fuel wires jb4 come with

This isn't exact science and your tank is never "empty". Download the e85 calculator to your phone (e85cal). Not all e85 is actually 85% either. Some of it is 75%. Technically you need to test it, but this is all just too much ass pain. Throw 4 gallons in there and the rest premium gas for a 14-15 gallon tank and be done with it. You'll be close to e30. If it comes out e27, next time, throw 4.5 gallons in. Your tune should not be aggressive enough where 3% is going to blow up your engine. You need a margin of error and the tune should adjust for that.
