As a Canadian, we had a building/renovation show called Holmes on Homes. His motto was “Make it right” and always pointed out building to code was actually building to the minimum acceptable standard. These Living RV’s are a great example of this motto. I don’t know if the RV has a written code of standards, but a large percentage of manufacturers are using this style of code as the top level to achieve. Living RV’s define the idea of Make it right.
I liked that show and Mike Holmes here in the states. It's a high quality RV,I do love the sustainability of it.

It's getting old hearing people complain about the price. JD is doing this for informing and entertainment. Do you watch videos about supercars and complain you can't afford it? This is the Rolls Royce or Lamborghini you can't afford, but still love to look at. Rant over, have a nice day.
What an amazing product, if I could of saved the money I spent over the years on 6 RV’s, I would of had the money to invest in this wonderful product. It wasn’t available 40 years ago but is wish it was, great job JD and great job to Living Vehicle

I work in the telecommunications industry and we are always trying to find products that are green based. Plus they have to meet a certain LEED level for our business. It is great to see a manufacturer doing the product research before installing the product.
While I agree with the majority of commenters, that these are unattainable for the majority, I look at the series not as a review of an RV, but rather a review of the research and development and possibilities for the future. All technologies come down in price over time and I believe most of these will as well. this is a cutting edge product that is not intended for mass market. I respect and appreciate the research and development that will ultimately make these technologies available to more of us. These ideas need to come from somewhere and these folks seem to have found enough people that are interested and have the means to purchase their product to fund all of this research. Everyone else will benefit from this in time.
I watch all of your videos, but this RV is unattainable for the average person. I know I couldn’t afford it!
To be honest, many RVs are unattainable by the average person. Most folks who RV have an amount of disposable income to put towards that type of lifestyle. Believe it or not, many people who buy RVs really can't afford them even though they get in debt.
@@BigTruckBigRVThese trailers are way up on price. There are really nice homes with beautiful property of 2 acres worth 300,00 .I would rather pay 100,000 for a ROA off-road trailer. These trailers your showing on this video, price is way to high. I know they have expensive quality components. I would rather pay this amount for a house on bricks on land then a Mobile trailer.

I think it would be a real eye turner and very worthwhile to have one of these units displayed at the RV MH hall of Fame. Probably not full time, but just occasionally, to let people see what is possible and available. So what if it puts a bad light on the rest of the industry.
I have to agree with the other commenters. It's great that they are improving the function and quality, but only the rich can get them. If it's only the 2% of america can afford them( just like tesla cars!) It really has no impact on the planet. If 100% of rvers could have these then you have changed the whole industry and dropped the planet's impact.😢 and rich people dont want to camp! That's slumming.🤦♀️🤷♀️

I'm far from an environmentalist, that said, I still do believe that businesses should practice environmental conservation.
I see that the left coast built an RV and it has all the left coast goodies to go with it. I guess that off sets the carbon footprint for the truck it takes to pull it.
My most important criteria for purchasing an RV is... will it survive the zombie apocalypse. 😆

My question is what are they going to pull these heavy RVs with when California stops selling diesel in 2030?
It's well build but at the end of the day it's a small 24ft trailer. I would want at least Thomas Payne recliners. The inside looks very uncomfortable for living.

I’m subbed because I like the normal additions the average person can get. This is not it. I know you say the average person can’t afford an RV but that’s BS. The goosebox can be used on a 10k older 5th wheel. The average person can afford that. All this trailer does for me is I look at it and see one dent from my kids in the aluminum cabinets and that’s a 5k dent. No thanks from an average person
What is ironic is that it might be the "greenest" RV ever built but it takes a huge truck to pull it anywhere, which most environmentalists would like to do away with. Baby steps I guess.
The biggest problem I see. Is price often gets you no extra quality. Now with these folks, it does. But they are marketing, to the top 4%. The companies that will survive the coming collapse of the economy. Are the companies that can put out. An obvious more rugged and long-lasting unit. And keep it around 65 thousand or less.
Just a thought JD, if you're going to interview people, let them do most of the talking. It's an interview not a monologue.
These are fantastic vehicles, and the interviewer’s sincere enthusiasm shows clearly on this and the other recent videos on Living Vehicle. But on this video especially, the interviewer is talking way too much. Give the people you’re interviewing a chance to get more than a few words in before you interrupt and go on another long monologue. Otherwise, I like these videos.
Funny that people are STILL complaining about the price. Do they go complain on the high end Class A channels also? 😂

This is a top 3% RV, and I doubt many of those folks are interested in a $1/2M Travel trailer, they prefer the $2M Class A Prevost and Newell Coach's.
I wonder how many of your 509k followers could afford one of these and if they could would they even do it? I agree these are awesome but so unattainable for 95% of the population. So, are they really doing anything selling maybe a 100 of these a year?

You obviously don't spend much time watching media reviews. And they didn't score the highest because anybody was paid off. I would not be fair and impartial if I didn't make these videos. That's the level of detail and quality that is so far above the rest of the industry. Better yet, why don't you set up an appointment and visit them yourself and you give a fair and impartial assessment of the RV. You probably should go back to your conspiracy theories in your locked basement.
That RV is way too hyped up lol. I know the quality is good but that looks like some dudes utility garage.
