Great video! We give all clients Membrane MicroTonic and Microbalm pillows for their aftercare. Really great products. For daily moisturizer we recommend Bee Bald daily with SPF30 but will check out the Lush matte product you're recommending.
What's best moisturizer for long term to use after SMp
Are you sure about the "no vaseline" approach? Skalp in the UK recommends it.
Thank you for the question. We advise that the skin must breathe post treatment. Vaseline will incubate the smp and therefore may take longer to heal. Every business and artist may have their own approach. Thank you for watching.

Hi I got mybsecond touch up yesterday and my spm artist told me to apply A&D ointment on scslp to help the healing process and to protect the scalp. He also told me to apply some water on the third day to kindda wash off the ointment and to shampoo in the 5th day. Does this sounds about right?? I tought I was not supouse to wet scalp at all until the 4th or 5th day? He also told me my scalp was kindda dry this time.
How long after first session do you have to wait to get 2nd and 3rd, is it one week or 2 weeks? Also do I have to wait 4 days or 2 weeks to do jujitsu and lift weigjts?
Thank you for your question Marco. We determine wait from the condition of the clients skin however generally it’s two weeks apart. As for physical activity the longer you can wait.. the better in order to achieve better retention. We hope this helps 🙏

What about applying mosturizer between sessions specially if I tend to get flaky dry scalp?

Hello there, thank you for your question. There are many other lotion options that may be more suitable for keeping your skin healthy and moist. Castor oil may be to thick and heavy for your skin and SMP to breathe, however it depends on your skin and your reason for wanting to use castor oil. You may want to speak with a Dermatologist. Ultimately, a lighter lotion may be best.

Hi so I had my smp done over a year ago, and would like to ask a few questions about aftercare. firstly its very hard to find sun tan lotion without cetyl alcohol in it. even the children sun cream has this ingredient, is this fine to use once you have completely healed. also i have been using johnsons baby lotion to moisturise my scalp daily. there are types of alcohol in this product, so again once your smp has completely healed is it ok to use.
Hello Sir, thank you for sharing and we hope to help. First we would like to begin by saying that it is always best to speak to your Dermatologist first about your skin and possible reactions as their knowledge will be very useful to you.
As for cetyl alcohol, this agent that softens and soothes flaky and dry skin. It simply helps lotions to emulsify. Many SMP Clinics may have their own suggestions on sunscreen options and of course the products that are gentle on the skin. Your Clinic may have some good suggestions for you.
Overall, once your skin has had its time to heal and the SMP has rested naturally in your skin your epidermis will be completely back to normal and ready for the suggestions products😉.

Skills, they sell an organic sun block, the company name is badger. All they need to add for sun block is zinc, and the organic stuff only has good ingredients.

@@josepha5 Just use unscented lotions but use gingerly and only 2-3 times a week

So when can I wash my scalp after the procedure? Most places say don't touch your scalp for 5 days post procedure? Your video was somewhat confusing. Are you saying that one should start using a moisturizer immediately after the procedure, or should they wait 5 days?
Thank you for addressing this. We first must begin by saying that everyone’s skin and healing rate may be different however generally many people feel more dry after getting smp. We prefer people moisturizer the next evening “if” they are dry. Dry skin is more of an issue with retention. Follow the instructions your smp tech has given you personally over general terms.
