- We are back with another video and this time we are in Aviemore where we discover it is too cold for Van Life in Scotland !
We have had major camera issues and Mark has managed to salvage some content for todays video, stay tuned to find out what problems we have with Amazon when we decide to order a new camera and what we have to do to defrost !

Thanks for your vlog . Nice timing as I am arranging my first trip to Scotland in our new motorhome . Camped loads of times in winter but never a motorhome . I am booking in at Glenmore which is the other site near Aviemore on the way to the visitor centre . You must have driven past it . I was looking at Dalready but it’s not close enough to where friends are staying and I need to cycle or walk to them . May need to follow Marks tip and insulate my waste pipes . Struggling to find places to stay at on the way from Midlands and also on way back . Great video you did as I could see where I am going .

I had a weather station from Amazon and sent it back got a return code from them and you can drop it in at any post office and the refund was made in 22 minutes it was great hope that helps good luck Kev.

❤St Andrews is lovely our daughter has a Lodge there. Pitlochry is a lovely place it’s only one street the drive there is stunning. The Cairngorms is lovely in the autumn and summer but freezing in the winter. Aw shame you had all that hassle it’s so stressful.Get your hat on Mark looks like it could snow. The gold post box is a tribute to those who won gold medals in the 2012 Olympics. There’s a lovely ZOO with tigers just outside. Aviemore.Safe travels lovelies❤

Gold postboxes represent an Olympic Gold medallist from the local area.🥇
Fraserburgh has a brill motorhome aire called Glenbutchy, owners are lovely, it’s only £5 a night, overlooks the sea and they have water fill up and waste disposal (think charge extra for emptying loo)

Hi guys,
In Aviemore you can park near the leisure centre and use their showers as long as you respect the locals. Also, ask at the British Legion. ADIOS
aww poor Mark....buy some walking sticks...the one's for speed walking...some have points at the end that easily take a better hold in icy ground.
He can't afford any broken limbs...he's the Driver !!
He also needs to wear a hat, scarf and gloves or he'll get pneumonia in Scottish winter weather.
Anyhow this is a brilliant video with fantastic drone shots over such beautiful Vista's.

Hi, the wife & I went to Scotland in ’96 & had a fab time. Pitlochry was nice, one fun thing - my wife needed the public loos…..she had to pay 10p & got a raffle ticket for her payment. Have never laughed so much as I imagined someone going round the toilets calling “Tickets Please” 10p a pee!!

If your pipes freeze again you could always use a hairdryer, powering it via your power bank.
I've had to do this, this morning to remove the truma cover.
The campsite looked lovely. Scotland has so much to offer I just hope the no parking doesn't take over and stop responsible vaners.

We are up in Scotland we are not having any problems all good so far

both us and our friend’s where frozen up solid we usually use the diesal heater but with being on a camp site we where on hook up and i think this caused the problem as last year we didn’t have this
