    If you've had thousands of conversations with people, from strangers to friends, to family and partners, you learn a few lessons. I'm here to share some powerful ones with you today.
    What happens if you aren't quite in the right "head space" to talk to someone? How can you get out of that?
    What's the best way to get yourself warmed up to talk to people, even if you don't feel like it?
    This has never been taught online before and when applied, will change how you talk to people forever. You'll find the confidence and playfulness you need to be spontaneous in your conversations with anyone you meet.
    You'll finally have a procedure for when someone says, "be present" and know exactly what you have to do in order to get yourself there when in conversations.
    As a bonus, you get to learn how every conversation is an opportunity for you to grow and essentially do the work on yourself that you need in order to be the best, most authentic version of yourself.
    There's also a great announcement at the end, so watch all the way through to find out about the future of Your Charisma Coach and how you can win something big just by being social.
    See you on the next episode!

    Mindfulness in nutshell, I love the simplification of this for non-meditators.

    Have just finished your book (Downloaded when it had first come out. Not the most consistent of readers, I know) and watching you speak after several years (You're like an ex who keeps coming back!) is making me a little emotional (What the fuck is wrong with me today! Am I having one of those guy PMS!). Because the followers of the "conversation community" or "charisma community" ... or "pickup community": however you label it, we have shared our deepest insecurities and fears (and have won) with you guys. I mean, you know what being a socially anxious, shy, introverted guy is like, right?
    Thank you for being with us. Kudos!

      I'll be here, just doing some bigger things behind the scenes and popping in from time to time. You're in good hands with Jonny and the rest of the team. We've got an amazing summer camp seminar coming up in September. You could see me there, live and in person.

    Great video thank you Marcus! I was just wondering how did you actually start a conversation after getting in a relaxed state of mind? In the video you set yourself a challenger to do a selfie. But I'd prefer to be able to just start conversations?
    Also what do I do if I have nothing to say as I practice relaxing my tension? I feel like the anxiety for me comes because I just don't know what to say. I can't wait to try this out though, thanks once again!

    • @YourCharismaCoach
      @YourCharismaCoach  6 років тому +2

      Thanks Juan. The more relaxed you are the more opportunities present themselves. The motivation becomes an expression of curiosity. The first external step, as ever, is to obtain the other person's attention. The least effort it takes, the smoother it is. For example, getting eye contact is more elegant and jumping out in front of someone.
      For me, the selfie challenge was more for self amusement. It was fun to experiment with! Now, in any circumstance, to keep a conversation authentic you need a genuine reason to start it. Where does the reason come from? Deep inside. Enjoy just being relaxed, you don't have to do -or say- anything. The point here is to be in a place where you're more connected to yourself so that if something (an observation) does arise you can capture it and express it. If that doesn't happen it's cool.
      Eventually, though something will popup and you might want to share it. Or, you might get really close and not. And that's okay. But then it'll happen again and again. When I did this I'd often just get to the point where I wanted to see what happened.

      Thanks for that.
      I tried this a few times and tried to breath into the anxiety but just felt frozen and I still couldn't think of anything to say. I want to socialise but feel really stuck. I'll keep on going though.
      Would love to come to the workshop but away during that time. :(

    Nice video, should I say the thing in my mind or loud in public ?

    • @YourCharismaCoach
      @YourCharismaCoach  6 років тому

      It all depends on you. As you may have noticed, nobody seemed to even notice me while I was saying things out loud.
      It can be fun to say those things with a friend out loud.
      You can always just say them in your head. You'll notice you get a warm feeling and feel much more ready to get into conversations after doing this.

      YourCharismaCoach I tried this and it worked! I became really present and talked to a stranger. I want to know, how much minutes you spend on each exersises and what does the exercise name "secret backstories" mean. I looked it up but could not find it. Thanks this was really helpful.
