We have been asking Guy for the past 20+ years for a Christmas Album lol. Although he did do a lot of Carol's in the park etc. Now this song came from his split with then manager who Guy discovered had embezzled nearly a Million $ from his over the years. Guy was threatened with his career ending etc but Guy is a fighter and too him to court where his manager was found 'Guilty' Both families were close so it was a double blow to Guy and his wife... But Guy writes about 'real' life and this is part of his story. Love you Susie & Travis and a big shout out to 'Kris'
Guy is a wonderful human with an incredible voice❤ But please don't recommend that radio show- they make racist, misogynistic, and nasty content and will hopefully be off the air soon. This does not reflect on Guy Sebastian who is a caring community focussed person.
Apparently guy wrote the song about his manager how embezzled over a million dollars Guy took him to court everyone told him he was nuts you want beat him to powerful and lots of money But guy won the case and his money after judge ruled in his favour This was a message he sent him that he won't give up the court case The unfortunate part is they used to be best friends and all their families together Cheers guys 🦘🇦🇺👍
Well Guy won the case but Titan appealed and all convictions were overturned. He’s currently in the process of suing the government to recoup his legal fees. I believe there is to be a retrial next year but at this stage all convictions have been dismissed.
Guy is a legend. Beautiful voice that pushes at your heartstrings.
