I have a Panasonic GH5 and it has this function called "Variable Frame Rate" where I can basically set my camera to record the video at 60fps or 120fps (higher or lower possible too) with slow motion already applied at the moment of shooting so no need to slow it anymore. I find that it gives a much smoother motion than slowing down in post. It's amazing for smooth & cinematic shots! I wonder if other camera brands have a similar function?
Thanks it was so usefull tutorial... I searched so many videos on youtube but didn't get the solution. Your video is really simple to understand. Thanks a ton.!!!
I know you said there were several ways to do this, but just curious, why not in the sequence right click - speed/duration - then slow down via changing the percentage? If your timeline is already set to the correct frame rate, does this accomplish the same thing?
You know that you are a really a very good UA-camr if you get comments like this before 1000 subscribers - "You are really an underrated UA-camr. You need to have more subscribers"
Great video man. If anyone is able to answer, can you slow down a 120fps video to create slow mo in lightroom? Every time I see it done it's done with premier pro
Hello i just got active on youtube and came across your channel. Thank you for your excellent tutorial. I have been following for the past few weeks 👍😊
do i need to shoot log footage in order to do this process and have good video quality or its ok to shoot normal video none log footage then slow down the video ...
I use a GoPro Hero 3 Black which does allow me to shoot up to 120 fps but does not provide a way to adjust the shutter speed. Is this going to be a problem or does GoPro adjust the shutter speed using the 2 to 1 ratio?
Thank you so much for simplifying this subject for me! I have played around with slomo before but couldn’t get it the way I liked but this definitely fixed it! 1. ??? I have is, Does doing this in or adding Slow Motion clips to your.videos increase the file size drastically or is it not too noticeable? Thanks again Omar
Pura Vida from Costa Rica Quarantine Sean & Think Media Team, I am a VIP on your 7 Day Influencer Challenge and I shoot a lot of 4K and slow motion video Wildlife including... Hovering hummingbirds, Wild Howler Monkeys, Toucan Birds flipping back food, Exotic Flying Birds and so much more with my Nikon D850... Love this video! Thank You so much!
Hi! Nice tutorial but for me it just won't work. I have a 120 fps clip, I do the modify/interpret footage -> change to 29,97 -> drag the clip into the time line creating a new sequence of 29,97 fps but no slowmotion.. what am I doing wrong??
I have a problem, I shot slowmo video at 50p and then forget to set fps to normal 25p. Now I have 25p and 50p video in timeline which are not for slowmo and I want to keep audio (speech) both 25 and 50p. So how to fix, how to export to keep audio???
Is it bad that I have a little crush on Omar. Lol I know your married you know that, but she's very lucky and the whole team, I bet its a blst working there..
I've always used Interpret Footage to slow down the footage but I found a video saying to stop using it for this purpose. He said to use Speed/Duration instead.
If you are reading this just know that you are blessed. Amazing and beautiful don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I wish all your dreams would come true just as I want all my youtube dreams to come true thank you
Literally 99% won’t see this but if you do, Stay motivated, stay safe and Follow your dreams😀 My Dream is to have a lot of people see my videos. I've been struggling to achieve that💙
24fps is not jittery. It is cinematic. 20fps or below is jittery. All movies are 24fps and maybe it's my internal cinematographer, but 30fps/60fps looks awful (unless you are gaming, in that case, the higher the better).

What is the right picture profile for shooting slow motion video?
If I shoot 120 FPS footage , on a 30 FPS timeline I can go to 4x slower , but on a 60 FPS timeline, can I still go to 4x , or only 2x ?

Question : How to grow a gaming channel while playing a game with less community ? Pls answer I’m asking this in other channels still nobody answers
But when you have a 120fps clip and use this method, Premiere pro trims the last video in the clip. Why is that.
what if you ont want to slow down the frames and have normal speed video, but it was shot at 120frames
