Oh I forgot to mention... he only played 25 mins in that 6 point game. 5 or 10 more mins would have kept his double digit record alive, but MJ didn't even care about the record. Winning is his only focus. When his coach took him out, his only concern was did the coach believe in him and that's it.
He played with a broken rib and and bad knee that needed surgery pretty impressive #theGoat
The run with the wizards was like Bird when he was badly injured...Jordan was old didn't have the same step or bunnies as he had... couldn't sustain it as long.. . showed his grit and grind.. his desire.... learned how to pick his spots.. play smarter..... he always found a way to win.... it doesn't tarnish the career if they hang on... even if it lowers there career stats... only stat sheet warriors care about that.
@@secoTheSonicFan oh yes, they use that...but lebron still 37 nowadays and Jordan was 40 and had been retired for 5 years and played in am awful team. Why don't they compare 35 yo Jordan in 1998 when he was season MVP, Allstar MVP, champion and finals MVP? Jeez. And Jordan, unlike Lebron at 37 still played defense at 40!

People forget how bad the Wizards were and who they had on the team. When he played against Shaq and Kobe with the Lakers it was a huge mismatch. MJ was the only guy they had and was past his prime. People make that game more than what it is.
I think he should be praised. It shows to overcome fear and doubters. If you are going to do that, you do it how he did it for the Wizards.
It was Baron Davis. Father Time always wins. Wizards Jordan was good though. Favorite player ever is the real Isiah Thomas. Zeke, Tuss, and even as he is my favorite I know Jordan is the Goat but I also know James is not number 2 all time.

This video doesn’t include what was really happening before his injury..it’s highly skewed. There’s a fact based video of what really happened..they started 2-9 and ended up 26-21 when he got injured. They were 15-1 when Rip and MJ played together. MJ’s efficiency etc etc was improving because he took 3 years off so it’s natural but unheard of for an athlete to take time off at that age. He was also averaging 29/6/6 shooting 47% when he was injured and stackhouse was guarding Kobe and those other players didn’t take 3 years off so they sustained but in know way was Kareem Malone Duncan better than MJ and they were playing with prime hall of fame players when they were that age. Kareem didn’t make the playoffs in his prime without Magic.

MJ made a mistake in drafting Haywood and Kwame, but this video is purposely misleading. That guy is obviously some Lebron stand. You definitely need to watch the video where the guy from the original video responds. Jerry Stackhouse was a hater. He underperformed and has the nerve to talk about MJ. Kobe scored like that in a couple games
