This should be linked and posted in all airsoft forums out there.
A cop can use any means necessary if he feels his life is in jeopardy. If he walks down an ally and sees a group of guys coming towards him with guns he can fire. Same if someone is coming at him with a knife.
when i asked my dad a retired cop he said if he was pointed at with a real firearm he woud ask the person to put the gun down if they didnt comply they will shoot you unless you put a public airsoft alert aka calling the poliece to avoid a specific area and if a real criminal is useing a real gun disguised as a airsoft gun they will investigate it and the game will hault
true but the kid holding the airsoft gun was ordered by the cops to put the weapon down
he then turned around and without knowing, pointed the "gun" at the cops
Some criminals paint real guns with orange tips to try and trick cops. Orange tips will not save you from a cop shooting you!

but theyll usually draw the weapons, point it back and yell put the gun down!!
unless the uy wit the airsoft gun started firing then the cops r allowed to frie back in self defence

a cop is not allowed to fire on someone unless they fire on the officer or another individual. if the officer shoots someone unprovoked it's considered unauthorized use of deadly force/police brutality.

a springer is considered deadly for the holder not becuz of its "FIREPOWER"
but becuz of its realistic look
and if u point this at someone or a cop he will point his at u maybe killing u
THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED WEN A KID POINTED IT AT A COP(orange tip was painted) AND THEY REacted by shooting him
oh, i thought you meant in general cops can shoot someone if they have a gun even if there is no immediate threat. if the kid pointed at the cop then yeah, legally he had the right to open fire (even if it wasn't a real gun. cops have to make decisions in a split second.)
if he painted the orange tip then stupidity killed him, not the cheap ass springer
how the hell is a cheap ass springer considered deadly, unless you shoot it point blank down the thoat of a hemophiliac no ones gonna die
not true, if someone points a gun at the officer, they can shoot.
