      Hey hey yeah! Felt weird whacking on cold steel but I figured heating it up would have slowed down the process. 👍

    Awesome build sir! I don't weld but you inspired me to try and make a rack using a wire hanger for all my ball caps!

    • @Simplelittlelife

      Right on! Even wood would make great parts for this project to put the wire into . 👍

    I’m cackling. Searching for a way to make my bf a cowboy display rack thingy for his dads cowboy hat. He just passed away. Anywho & this is the video suggested. Let me go grab my welder real quick lol. Cool video though. It’s memorizing. 🤓

    I just got done watching the last tool vid. Another good thing to use if you don’t have the small wheel fixture is that air file. I have an electric one and works great for finger grooves.

    Nice rack. I've got my hats anding on an old bull's skull that still has the horns attached. Looks great. But, my hats are custom made. At $1,000+ per hat, I don't throw them around.

    Nice! I dig it! That's a slick looking hat rack. That Super Blue stuff works incredibly well, I could see why you want to wear gloves if it sticks to metal that easily it would be impossible to get off your hands. What was the windex step for?
    *nice shot (shots) with the hat at the end, that had me cracking up

    • @Simplelittlelife
      @Simplelittlelife  5 років тому +2

      Hahahaha, right on. 👍That super blue is actually a clear liquid but it's poison so you really don't want it touching your skin. The windex is used for the ammonia in it that will neutralize the super blue. That's my theory anyway 😆

    I like it. Nice job, Jeremy. Oh by the way your drawing is incredible. You're pretty much the best artist I've seen. Did it take you like 3 hours to do the shading on the upper lip? Ha ha jk I stole and tweaked thar quote from Napoleon Dynamite. Anyway, 'hats' off to another job well done.

    I really enjoy these off knife making videos. They're so calming. Anyways i have a question reguarding the blueing. Kann i blue a already acid etched blade? I want to make a pretty big blade for a friend the problem is that it is from a video game. So the design on the blade is a light acid etch with pretty big splashes of really dark black. So can i us the blue on acid etched knives.

    How many thousands of dollars in equipment and time???. In this case cheaper and more sensible just to buy one if you can afford all those tools and have such know how (or else get an assembly line and start YOUR OWN COMPANY, i BET LOTS OF COWBOY HAT OWNERS WOULD LOVE THIS)

  • @Roscoe3721

    Shouldn't you be making knives? Just asking? lol You should have just left the final shot of your hat landing on the rack and left it up to us to figure out if you truly did it in one shot.
