    hey! can this dough be made in advanced? and if so, does it need to be at room temp before frying? x

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood
      @TatyanasEverydayFood  7 місяців тому +1

      Hi! It depends on how far ahead of time you want to prepare it. You can make the dough, proof it, then refrigerate for a day. You'll want to shape the fritters and let the dough proof again before frying.

    Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑‍🍳, MMM MMM MMM, I think a strong cup of Irish Breakfast Tea would be perfect with these. Is it possible to bake them.? At least they are diabetic friendly 😂. Good morning! Yes, a cup of tea will be the finishing touch! I think you could bake them, too. I would brush them with an egg wash before baking. If you have a jumbo muffin tin, you can drop the batter into the tins so it doesn't spread out too much.
      It's apple season here, too! So many delicious varieties! Love it!

    The only thing I worry about is the apples getting done. Do they stay a raw crunchy texture? I don’t mind a tiny bit of crunchy. Apple Fritters are my husband’s favorite!

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood
      @TatyanasEverydayFood  7 місяців тому

      I find that they cook very well in the oil. I remove the peel for a better texture and I go with a softer apple. You can precook the apples if you want them to be super soft. You can blanch them in boiling water for about 1 minute, drain them very well, then fold into the dough.

    It’s a nice recipe, but that amount of yeast is extremely unhealthy for your gut. A few grams (or half a teaspoon) is all you need - just give the yeast some time to work.

    • @TatyanasEverydayFood
      @TatyanasEverydayFood  8 місяців тому +6

      I think 1/2 a teaspoon is far too little for a recipe of this size. I guess you could make this with a sourdough starter if you had one.

      @@Jessy-pk8fw you’ll all missing the point. Yes it’s deep fried. I love deep fried. Yes it’s sugary. I love sugary.
      But you don’t NEED that much yeast. Just ferment it for longer.
      You can burn off with exercise, sugar and fat, but you can’t burn off excess yeast.
      She’s only fermenting this for 2 hours max. That’s way too short (unless using this much yeast).
      And sure, you’ll get a good rise with the gas being produced, but the natural starches and sugars in the flour aren’t being broken down.
      I love donuts/fried bread, but I also love not being bloated

      I'm pretty sure that she knows what she's doing with this recipe. She's a chef and made them that way for a reason. The fritters may not come out the same if the recipe is altered. If it's too much for someone's gut they should maybe avoid them or look for healthier/altered recipes for glazed apple fritters.

    You will get better viewcount and interaction if you stop labeling 99% of your videos the *exact* same way. "The Best _____." IT isn't actually descriptive at all and it is lazy. Take note of how the uber successful youtube chefs work.
