I tested multiple razor blades with my Henson AL13 mild shaver. BIC Chrome Platinum & Parker Stainless Premium Platinum were 2nd and 3rd best. #1 was RK Shaving Stainless - recommended by Henson and they worked well for me. The RK blades also had the lowest cost of all the blades that I tested.
I agree. I make a lot of shorts with unintentional ASMR, and just thought I would repurpose the video, cut it up and make it for those who enjoy the sound of shaving.

I know you love your Personna Comfort Coated blades (as do I), but have you ever used the Personna Lab Blues or Personna Med Prep blades? I personally love the Lab Blues; they are very efficient, very smooth and effective. I'm asking because I guess there is a new company producing Personna blades called "AccuTec" and they have two series of blades: one called "AccuThrive" which are the Personna Med Prep blades and "AccuForge" which are the Personna Lab Blue blades. They are the same blades, just re-branded. I know Razor Emporium has the AccuForge blades and I picked up like 30 of them, but I haven't tried them as of yet and wasn't sure if you were ever curious about them.
I haven't used the lab blues or the medical prep blades yet. The medical prep blades are like $.50 apiece. I do plan on purchasing all their blades at some point. I'm about halfway through my hundred pack of persona blades.
@@OhioShaves -- That's why I've only tried the Lab Blues. The Med Preps can be hard to get (and yeah, are EXPENSIVE), so the Labs have been the better option for me. For the past two years I've mostly been blade testing. The significant blades I own are like 100 Rapira Platinum Luxes, about 100 Gillette Minoras, and the box of Personna Comfort Coats like you have, but I tested the blades RELIGIOUSLY before purchasing more.
Must be quite nice to not have to talk during your shaves sometimes. Would love to see you shave your beard using the leaf razo (Not the thorn or twig)

Just out of curiosity Dave, what Blade are you using. The RKs, Personna Platinums, or those Gillette double coated jobbies? I finally pulled the trigger on the Henson AL13 in Copper colour. (so I find it in my travel bag) . You sure are way better with this razor than a year ago! You have that angle down to a science. Think I'm going with Personna Platinum, I appreciate a smooth shave. Although Gillette double coated intrigue... I'm not convinced my shaving skills are quite there yet! 😂👋

@@OhioShaves Holy Doodle Bugs Dave! The best shave of my life no exaggeration either. It shaved so close I simply couldn't be expected to foretell the quality. This is a safety razor in every sense of the word. No fear going into the most tricky, most sensitive areas of my beard. Notorious knick areas are now no longer any problem in fact a breeze. I had to establish a boundary so to do that I had to dry shave before I could draw any blood. Even then it was so shallow it dried up so fast, I was hooked. A 5 o'clock shadow I'm certain is now a thing of the past too!!! Remarkable razor Henson you achieved what I always wanted. A safe, smooth, sharp shave. Thank heaven for small mercies I'll now be able to finally get closer to her, an edge every* guy should have in his back pocket! 😅👍👍 Thanks* Dave, you were the guy that convinced me! It's hard to say I would get a variety pack from Amazon and just try different blades. Everyone's face and skin type is a little different.@@alexalexander1438

I’m using personna comfort coat blades. My go to blades they are medium sharp
